Good Charlotte is a pop punk band from Waldorf, Maryland who, have played a vital role in the alternative rock, emo, punk rock community. Starting out in 1996, they found success with their debut self-titled album, with two of its singles - ‘Little Things’ and ‘Festival Song’ - both charting in the Top 10. Among their top songs includes, “The River,” "The Anthem” and "I Just Wanna Live". Additionally, the group have charted six songs in the US Hot 100, the most successful being 2002’s ‘Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous’, which went to No. 1 on the Alternative chart. Good Charlotte’s signature sound has made them one of the most recognizable bands of the genre, garnering them a handful of MTV Video Music Awards and an NRJ Award over the years. Throughout the years, the group has continued to produce solid releases with consistent collaborations, ranging from Waka Flocka Flame and Waterparks to Sam Carter. My old man is fighting against cancer, and I'm sorry, I had to cry. It's been years I've not cried. I try to keep it cool, but I needed to do this... Tengo casi 30 años. Recuerdo haber escuchado esta canción en mi adolescencia. Tipo 15 años. Me gustaba la melodia, y me la aprendí la letra completa y a Pesar de que entendía de que se trataba hasta ahora soy consciente de el significado arrollador de ésta. Hoy vuelvo a ver el video con más detenimiento, video que antes me parecía Interesante pero ahora literal me ha hecho llorar. Estas son las canciones de mi juventud. Las canciones con significado. totalmente de acuerdo. Yo no entendía el significado de la cancion allá cuando tenia 15 años. Ahora que tengo 30 y entiendo el ingles vuelvo atrás en el tiempo a ver como mi vida a cambiado desde entonces. Aprovecho cada día para disfrutar y algún día en el futuro dejar caer la lagrima de saber que hice todo lo quería hacer y sin arrepentimientos.

Hola a todos!!! Esta canción la solía escuchar mucho cuando tenía 21 años de edad (sobre todo en el verano del año 2007) en el chalet de mi padre, en la ciudad canaria de La Laguna. Llevaba una cresta punk y una indumentaria de la misma índole. Por aquella época escuchaba mucho punk-rock (no es que ahora lo haya dejado de hacer). La letra de la canción es muy fuerte (y yo ya lo sabía por aquel momento). Ahora tengo 37 años, el tiempo ha pasado a velocidad de vértigo, muchas cosas han cambiado para bien y algunos familiares, entre ellos, mi padre, ya no se encuentran aquí. Nunca dejaré de recordar esta canción ni de escucharla con cariño (me gustaba y me gusta mucho). Sólo sé que el punk no está muerto y que aún nos queda mucha guerra por dar. Extraño los viejos tiempos, los recuerdo con cariño, a la par que disfruto del momento presente y de lo que me queda aún por delante. Me pregunto si dentro de 15 o 16 años volveré a escuchar alguna canción cómo esta, si volveré a toparme con algún comentario de RU-vid mío y si extrañaré tanto el momento presente como ahora extraño el momento pasado :)

I remember being a young teen when this was released and I loved the album I listened to it all the time. I'm now almost 30 with a business and 3 kids and I'm surprised by how well i.still know the words. I miss this era of music in my life. Good music and good times with good friends!

Nossa, reassistindo esse clipe e reouvindo essa musica agora com 29 anos, percebo como essa musica eh profunda e tocante..com esse clipe ainda, impossivel nao chorar. Que recuerdos, good Charlotte ya no hace temas tan buenos como los de antes, realmente todas las bandas de rock alternativo que escuchaba antes(entre 2000 a 2010) ya no hacen músicas tan buenas como antes, lamentablemente demuestra como el rock ha decaído en todo el mundo desde el 2010.
