Whoa they always keep on amazing me. And all you people who say "blah blah Syn made the solo simple" you know GC isn't a metal band right? The solo fits with the style of GC who, remember, wrote the song in the first place. I'm a GC fan AND an A7X fan, I love both
@Cocknockerofl Yes, but it's on a different level compared to some other person thinking of a guitar riff to that part without overpowering the vocals. It's not about the complexity, it's about what goes well with the song and what you can play every night on tour.
man they sound really good live, on some others videos they got a lot of crap saying they were pretty shitty especially on vocals but this video proves they are sick no matter what
I Love You Good Charltte!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im still singing along to thhis song right now. Baptized in the river i've seen a vision of my life and i wanna be delivered! By the way when was this and are they ever gonna come back to Paris cause I really want them to. Go Good Charlotte! ^_^
@Avi4Sa Yeah, We all know, I like Good Charlotte, but this song is a lot better with them. They shoud play this song togheter live, at least once. They're both great.
badtla777, your comment didn't prove anything. i clicked on that video and you do know know what head voice is. put simply, young and hopeless doesn't have the high notes in the river (now i'm trying to find my way back home). so in the y&h video yes they do put on a much better performance, but that comes down to how much easier that song is to perform in comparison with the river (which by no means is terribly complicated).
Come On, there's no big difference between the 2 versions... it's just the point that every song sounds different live, you can't say this one sounds different cause m.shadows & sny gates are missing
because by the time you get around to singing it in the set, singing it higher can really wears out your voice and damage your voice for the rest of the show. Plenty of bands to it. Like when you see Blink 182 sing Dammat like, Mark Hoppus never screams it like he does in the recorded version.
Quite good performance, I gotta say. Though you feel the difference without Shadows singing, I think it was a good one. Solo was good, even without Synyster playing it. :]
agreed. syn and m shadows make this song so much better. what happened to them? theyre fucking pop now.... i wish they could go back to their young and the hopeless... o well
GOSH, I HATE it when they do this song Live. They always have to do it a key lower so his voice can feel better. It just kills the whole feel. that was a song MEANT to be in Eb (E flat)
