Someone hit my bike at work yesterday and they came in and had them page me to come out. The poor girl was freaking out crying, she knocked it over pulling in beside me. I told her my bike is a 2001 and its fine, it had a few scratches. I said she's ok to leave and that it wasnt a big deal so I agree with Devs_Moto by picking your battles.

that last video... perfect interaction with a cop... he just wanted to inform them that what they was doing (presumably going fast) wasnt ok and sent them off with a warning.
It ended up being ok after he cooled off. The guy was being the regular blowhard when he first walked up on them threatening to subpoena the video footage from his camera. 143mph? Oh yeah, I TOTALLY believe it combined your speed and his speed buddy... Glad it worked out instead of continued escalation. This is a great example for police to learn from.

@@257796 He wasn't far off tbh. The top speed of a MT-07 around 133-134 mph. Not the exact top speed, but still very dangerous and very illegal to be anywhere close to that speed in the first place. The fact that the only thing you argued about was the cops guess on how fast their bikes could go was a reach.

You going to sit there arguing a stupid point now? End of the day the BUS is at fault and could have caused an accident directly or indirectly. The biker didn't put themselves in that position the BUS did.

(Probably should have check the side mirror better for the rider, idk) Not interested in assigning blame to either party, I'm breaking down a few things of note. Don't know if maybe there was traffic close behind the motorcycle rider, or some other reason why he couldn't simply ease up on the throttle and let the car change lanes. Or once he had gotten the driver's attention with the horn, why he didn't speed up and carry own his way, instead of wasting time riding next to the driver, playing a game of chicken. Whatever the case, this interaction between driver and rider, was made a bit more dramatic than it had to be. It's understandable that both of them were becoming heated, but this could easily have ended up being more hazardous, given the weather and traffic conditions. Apologies for my English and the rant. Tyler Abel, this kind of crap is why no one cares when we get hit. Most drivers won't see you, it's just something you have to deal with and accept. Also, that car was not that close to you, just move over and continue your ride.
Tips for new riders: 1. You’re invisible to everybody but cops. 2. Don’t fall to peer pressure. 3. Watch a few hours of bike crashes before you get your first bike.
@ZJ_Rides117 I had the same happen to me except the bird landed onto my lap after I hit it. Left a spot on my helmet to and crapped on my lap. Glad it didn't make you crash. I've seen bikers wreck trying to avoid the little sky rats.
