@tiffanythomas5750 I have a turtle sandbox filled with water but I know the mud plays a roll in keeping them from getting sunburn so I dug a wallow but the water just doesn't stay in there
Mine doesnt either. I fill ot 3x a day. Today was a bit much. Heat index of 111. They enjoyed laying in their pool with the hose pouring on them. I also get them a bag of vitamins and electrolytes that I add to their water. I also have a shelter house we built for them from pallets and plywood. That way they have shade all day. It's under our big oak tree. @@DiannaTripp
@tiffanythomas5750 they have shade as well but not as much as I would like, so I'm expanding their pen so I goes into the woods a bit, I would love to get one of those fences kc farms has, I have the perfect place that I could keep them on warmer days, but the other problem is getting them there, I haven't got a harness yet
