37:54 For anyone that doesn't play alot of golf...this shot was UNREAL difficult. The amount of forward weight and downward swing, all the while keeping the face as open as possible is UNBELIEVABLE!! I enjoy watching Brad as much as I've ever enjoyed watching any GG member. WOW DUDE! just WOW!
Ironically might be an easier shot for someone who doesn't play a lot of golf lol speaking from past experience the steep, open face, stab chip is a stock shot 😂 extremely difficult when you're used to swinging properly though
Tae is an unbelievable golfer (probably the best on RU-vid)but amazingly an even better content creator, his videos are my favourite on RU-vid right now and it's downright CRIMINAL he's getting barely any views and some channels hacking it around get hundreds of thousands, boggles my mind
I hope y’all see this. I’m 33 and due to some prior complications (and a serious mistake by a surgeon a few years back) am currently laid up for at least 3-4 months recovering from a hip replacement surgery. The pain has been so bad over the past two years that I’ve went from a 5 handicap to a guy that just feels lucky when I can finish 18 holes. I’m so excited to get back out there pain free, and the content you guys put out is so helpful. It always reminds me of being out there with my boys and keeps me positive and motivated. Keep it up dudes and thanks for the great content
Your comment stood out for me as I'm being 'handicapped' by a small physical problem. It's just soooo annoying. Trust you can get out there soon, totally pain free.
Brett, I went through spinal fusion a few years ago and I understand your pain. Take your time and come back slow. I'm playing better now than five years ago but the slow progress can be frustrating. Just keep in mind that it will get better eventually.
Thank you all for the positive feedback! I’m two weeks post op and am amazed at how much better the pain is and how much more flexibility I already have. Gonna be a long road but we’ll get there. Best wishes for your recoveries as well!
Covers and leans that shaft way too far forward. Also zero extension through the shot, immediately pulls in making every shot a huge slinger whether he likes it or not😅
he used to play a small fade before he switched to callaway, now every shot he hits is a 50 yard hook. he has a 120 yard shot and he has to hook it 30 yards
He essentially did when he was playing really good there for a while he moved the ball a little but just slightly now from 20 yards and out he aimes 100 yards right he will never be good doing that he needs to get his alignment fixed and stop trying to work the ball so much for sure to get back to when he was at his best.
Brads wedge game is a serious weapon. If he can get his swing a little more controlled and more easily repeatable he will have no problem winning some pro tournaments. He's a magician
Yeah that's some serious next level stuff and I'm surprised I don't see more people in the comments talking about it! I know Brad is on another level, but when I saw that plug/lie, being on the short side I thought for sure there was no way, but Brad always finds a way!
Sad to watch a man who has so much physical abilities to play this bad. If Bubbie learned how to hit it straight, he could be a darn good golfer especially with his knowledge of the game.
Brad and Ben are seriously good additions to the group. Their insight and their willingness to explain why and how they take on certain shots is great to see and has so many learnings to take from it - not to mention the fact they're both absolutely unreal and add good energy to the group!
I'd like to see more in the future with Marques. Good attitude, has the ability to hit some good shots. Maybe a once a year thing would be fun with him. He's got a busy schedule with his content creation, but one time a year for a big US course like this would be a fun annual thing to do for the channel. Every team played some good golf this round. Everyone was at least even par on the day through the first half of the game.
He needs to take a look at that drive. It appears as if he's putting extra oomph in it, he strikes across the ball right-left which creates a huge possibility for slicing.
The look on Bubbie’s face in the sale ad when Matt says “$20.99” gets me EVERY time. I don’t think I’ve skipped through it since ya’ll started running it 😂😂😂😂
@@subjectillustrator bro all of your comments are shit talking Bubbie. You’re clearly mad af. Did he steal your girl or something? I can’t imagine putting that much energy into hating someone that doesn’t even know you exist. Get help.
I was just going to post something about this is burnout golf. None of them seem really dialed in and they even sound tired. Along with the rain that doesn’t help.
I’d love to have this video audio on a podcast. I listen/watch your videos while I’m framing but my phone is in my pocket so it will randomly change videos or go to the adds website. How you all talk to each other, and about the game, puts me in a great mood. A good good mood yo. The sounds of the birds, bugs, and swings is terrific.
Started on hole 18 in the tourney and had my last shot of the day on 17 haha… Absolutely blessed to have participated in this event with you boys! Thanks for hosting!
Awesome! I started on 17. Sorry for hitting into you guys on the 10th! I honestly expected to be in the huge fairway bunker but I juiced it up the right side and stayed safe. Didn’t expect to hit almost 300yds on a frozen rope. Sorry about that!!
I'm just glad we got to finish 18 holes that day! Two or three big rain delays. I played better (still bad) day 2 despite perfect weather day 1 lol. Started on 15 day 2.
Ben the golfer who likes to hear himself talk and explains exactly how the shot would look like in a perfect world and when it doesn’t happen blames everything but himself on that shot 😅 love it.
Ah yes, not always, but used to know someone exactly like that. Part-way through counting would look you earnestly in the eye, and explain the counting process 🤣🤣🤣@@timmyotoole6063
THIS IS AMAZING. Theres a course near me called "Renditions " and they have #17 sawgrass its the coolest thing and the closest thing I have to playing the actual hole. So hyped for yall
guys musta missed the "better than most" tiger putt on 17 haha... that putt down the hill goes hard right at the end. Looks right to left the whole way. Fun to watch this adventure!
Garrett’s 10th hole: Drive: “sigh, not A game swing” (right fairway) Approach: “that’s maybe one of the worst swings…” (pin high right) Putt: “stay on the green” (6 inches left, tap in par)… Like bro, not every slightly off shot is the end of the world. Your mindset is obv pretty good, but compared to Brads it’s so different. Don’t remember it being so “we HAVE TO hit this shot absolutely perfect or it’s the end of the world”.
Sawgrass Stadium is a course that truly lives up to the hype. It's such a mentally challenging course but at the same time it's such an amazing experience.
To be fair this was actually a 7 hour round because there were 2 hours of lightning delays. Kinda hard for the boys (and the rest of us) to get in a groove. I think the median best ball score was like +20 over the two days.
Big good good fan but i actually didnt watch the end of this one. Maybe im old school but it just gets to me when people constantly drop clubs 😮 i get it.. now and then for abit of drama but its just non stop and at a place like sawgrass?
What about a two man stroke play match where you combine scores? Like say you birdie and your partner bogies then your net par.. you both birdie then your -2… that could be a sick video!
Garrett your putting stroke looks the best it ever has and your driver has obviously improved alot. I must say I am very impressed Even though I'm sure you won't read this or care if you did.
@@nicholasduncan5842 nah, it’s not just because of the nipper, Brad’s on a different stratosphere. Look up their accomplishments and accolades and you’ll see.
Bubbie trying to hit a 40 yard hook from 100 out of a bunker then wondering how it doesnt draw always makes me chuckle. Higher the loft the less the shape and I hope hell realize that one day because his swing is legit.
1 long horn blast means you have to get off the course immediately, usually indicating lightning. You can't legally play another stroke. 3 blasts is a normal suspension, and you're allowed to finish the hole you're playing.
Imagine a GG/MKBHD collab where you guys filmed with Marques’s Red Raptor camera’s. I know RU-vid would ruin the quality but man I’d love to see golf in 8k 120fps
1:13:59 - "113, I have my wedge, love this yardage" then nearly dunks it for eagle. What a shot!!! And serendipitously it happened at the 1:13 timestamp haha
I am so glad I watched this video. It reminded me of the only thing I hate about you tube golf. Snapping. Should be a penalty stroke every time you try to stop a put by snapping.
Definitely bucket list stuff, shame about no luck with the weather, first St Andrews now Sawgrass. Still a great vid! Maybe get Matt a lesson in the GG labs?
Love your content......even better than some PGA tournaments.......the only issue is watching you guys call shots you don't have in your bag...LOL "I am going to hit it high and draw around the tree".. ..then you hear the clunk of the tree....LOL Hit it out even backward, then take an open shot to the green that you have more comfort with.
