At around 14:20 right after Garret hits a putt that he’s no happy about you can hear a kid say “Garret can I get a picture?” And G-rat immediately answers in with a genuine “yeah of course, lets do it”. That’s why everyone loves these dudes
I'd love to watch the whole crew play a video like this, where it's a bunch of skill challenges. Points for drives, based on distance and line, then a mid-iron challenge the same. Various wedge shots (out of bunkers - long and short shots), 100, 60, 40 yard shots. then finish off with putts from varying ranges. I think there's a sneaky chance for Steve and Matt on a challenge like that.
Love seeing GG supporting youth events like this. Bubbie getting the kids involved during the putting session was great, as was Garrett agreeing to a photo op right after his putt. This is another reason why GG is so successful - could have big egos but they don’t.
The dude at the 300 yard mark holding his hand out like "HOW COULD YOU HIT ME?!".... Bruh... You're legit where they HIT THE BALL. I hate people like that.
This was such a fun video! I'm sure the kids who participated in the event appreciated the Good Good team being there. Keep doing all that you do to promote the game of golf. Thanks for sharing!
Good good is good people and That is why I love this channel. Everyone of this guys are stand up young men. This is about more than golf. I can’t wait to see these young men do well in life
Honestly this such a good thing for golf. RU-vid golfers are very popular among the younger audience and it's great to see you guys getting involved and hopefully getting even more kids interested in our sport
man that bermuda must be deceptively hard to chip from cause the boys didn't do too good on that challenge. Even Garrett struggled, who is usually an ace at chipping.
My daughter made it to the Tennessee Regionals in 14-15 age group!! She didn't have her best that day but it still was pretty cool to make it that far. Glad to see you guys struggle in it also HAHAHAHA :)
This is like Charity work. Kudos on you guys, I'm sure those kids loved seeing you. Thanks for the recent amazing content, this channel has really improved since you guys got back from the U.K...when you want to come to Camp Pendleton and golf with some Veterans let me know. Semper Fi
This may have been one of the coolest colabs. I just sent the link to my son who worships Good Good. He's finished 3rd - 2 years in a row and hasn't advanced but is driven to get to Augusta next year. Always....the short game!!!!
Thanks for using a shot of my daughter Melanie Ball at the beginning of this video (0:14 )with one of her drives from the local qualifier from DC&P in Augusta, Georgia. I recognize her attire to include her signature Converse shoes. That’s what she wears out on the course all the time to play. She did not do great that year, but this past year she got 4 th place overall with a 2nd place in Drive & 3rd place ribbon for her chip. This was a great video & funny to watch these guys try & compete the DC & P skills.
I hope you guys do this again next year and I’d be cool if you announced it in main channel video. It would help the game to grow even more. Thanks for doing stuff like this.
Hmmm, more GG golf. I think imho I would like to have seen more of the behind the scenes of an event like this, you guys giving the awards, meeting with the kids, watching and rooting them on etc. love the golf, but opportunity missed I feel.
Doing this as a child, i put in so much work and got nothing out. I would always barely miss on the drives (usually getting ten total points) dominating the chip and doing pretty mid at the putt, and still never made it out of regionals. Playing is way more fun and I wish there was a better way for juniors to use their golf skills. Luckily, drive chip and putt didnt make me want to quit that bad (though it was very frustrating).
