There's been some absolutely elite work in the stands this summer! Here's a look at the very best performances from the fans on the other side of the boundary rope!
ICC should consider rewarding spectator catches by awarding catchers a new ball signed by 'Man of the match' at the end of match. I think it'll make atmosphere more exciting. A cricket ball doesn't cost that much.
@@urdad6045 watch the video til the end champ. The guy in the crowd who caught it was Nick Benton. He's played first class cricket and was on his bucks party.
My Top 3 catches of this video are👇 that 1st Left handed stunner by that Man🔥🤙👌 that Yellow coloured T-shirt wearing guy💛👍 and lastly that one which being hit by Wade, and particularly this celebration is nice😃😀
Some of these catches reminded me of that Cincinnati Reds fan that once caught a ball while holding a baby in his hand. The catch was so insane that the fan that caught the ball got a chance to be interviewed by a local Cincinnati TV station
@@TexasCowboy6 then the umpires need to bring a box of balls out, pick out one with similar wear on it, then test it. It wastes like 10 minutes, so therefore most will just throw it back.
I had the best shy at the stumps for a spectator at the WACA aus v sa. Someone chucked an apple at my friend and i picked it off his lap and sent it back. Hit him square in the face. His group were contemplating a fight untill they realised the whole stand was screaming "legend, legend..." at me.
I`d like to see the commentators make a bigger deal of the crowd catches. and hand out $1000 bucks or something. that would be cool as. Like Foxytell couldn`t afford it.
The same ball is used for the entire innings, unless it is damaged or lost. The age of the ball plays a key role in gameplay when it comes to bowling/batting as well. (ie. a ball that is 5 overs old will travel/spin differently than a ball that is 40 overs old)
No you wouldn't. Y'all don't have the technique or patience for cricket. Baseballers don't bounce the ball when they pitch, the skill is not transferable. You'd have to spend decades to even get close to professional standards of play and even then you'd get your asses kicked by everyone else whose been playing for well over a century.
