No culvert, no water pipe passage and during heavy storms it can wash away the sand fill

Why don’t the people constructing these roads across the water bury a say a 10 diameter concrete tube to ensure the water can flow under the new road.

Having the tube joining the section of water,it will also avoid flooding,as due to the new road taking quite a chunk of water, it will encourage flooding if we have heavy rains. I have no knowledge of rain fall in that area. Hope it does not flood. When we challenge Nature usually the ‘man’ comes second. Good luck people.. hope your hard work is rewarded in years to come. 🙏👍👌🤗

I saw them do that in another vid. A ‘Culvert’ was laid in a water source ahead of the dozer. The dozer narrowed it’s spread of ‘fill’ as it approached the culvert but just seemed to give up and simply buried the pipes and continued on over it. These operations that we watch with dozers and dump trucks are obviously just huge landfill areas used to take the spoil from other construction areas? Maybe some time in the future these filled areas will have some construction work done, who knows? Who cares? No one tells us anything.

A Tube is Not a bridge. Soil is always used to Cover the concrete tube.

What kind of backass way is this? Fill in the canal then let’s dig it up. I guess it fits, Half the dump truck drivers don’t seem to know how or where to back up to to dump their loads. So much wasted time money and fuel.

You are speaking from LOGIC not Knowledge and experience. The method used here was the CORRECT one. The unstable soil prior to (fill-in) would be difficult and COSTLY to position equipment in order to install the culverts in its proper position and elevation.
