Anyone else love it when Oliver gets a story in his head and he just can't help but laugh while Carrie waits patiently for his moment to be over. You guys are such a joy to watch ❤️.
I was given the tip by a cat sanctuary that you should have a noise when you feed your cat. Like a bell or something you say. And that way if they are outside and they hear the noise they will know it's dinner time and come running back!
Carrie's reaction to your Olivander/yasss joke Oliver is the same reaction I get from my wife with some of my jokes! It's the "I love you but man you're an idiot sometimes" look! Ours was a showmance during a production of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, married 6 years now with many shows since then but it's these little still moments that keep us laughing 😂😂
National theatre has a massive warehouse of all the costumes and you can hire them, all the costume have names in and who’s worn them from Olivia Colman to Andrew Scott to Andrew Garfield and cate blanchett . To this day my favourite costumes is Maria Bjornson costumes for Phantom, I’ve been backstage and seen them first hand and they are beautiful,so much detail.
I actually swear costumes have a life of their own. Loved the longer video. That Mormon story and reaction to yasss queen killed me. Swear I give my bf the same look when he does that
Right here me out...don’t laugh! If you are worried about Edgar going out at first. You can purchase a cat lead. You can put the lead on him whilst you are introducing him to the garden and see how he goes. You can then still use the lead but don’t hold it so you can grab it if he looks like he’s going to bolt

Love the jingle. Me and my younger sister had a really lovely moment with costume in a performance we were in together. When I was 11, I was in a show about Victorian street children and had a green raggedy dress to wear for when I was an ensemble urchin. A few years later, my sister and I were in a different show with the same company but it was set around the same time so they used the same costumes. When dress run happened my sister came down to the stage where I already was and she was wearing the same pale green dress for her ensemble urchin. We could tell it was mine because not only did it have my name in it (bit of a give away) but it also had the remains of fake blood round the collar from where I had been murdered in the previous show. It was a really cute moment
I'm getting emotional thinking about all those racks of Les Mis costumes... can you IMAGINE what that would feel like to show up for your fitting and have the costumes of people like Sam Barks, Lea Salonga, Patti LuPone, Ramin Karimloo, Judy Kuhn, etc etc etc just waiting there?
omg I played Link in my High school's production of Hairspray and because the costume change was so extravagant because I was changing into a suit they ended up just making me come in with Tracy after 'It's Hairspray' and run up from the back of the theatre to the stage. but I do remember always coming on still as if I had just been hit by a bus cuz the change was rarely successful. 😂
We have a cat we were caring for for a year and she got out the first day . She was fine and came back all chill. The family then didn't come back and we got stuck with a cat and then we move house she got out again within the first day or two and again was totally fine. She clearly settles in quickly. In sure the neighbours she has also adopted as her houses would also agree.
In our local panto, it's a mix of old costumes and new costumes made by a team of 3. My mom used to make the costumes for a few years before I was born and so was friends with the lady in charge. She then retired and someone new took over. She decided to make us all these green dresses and took our specific measurements. Let me tell you my mother was fuming when she saw me on stage wearing a dress so big it was barely staying on me as well as the fact that they had run out of green fabric so mine had two big black side panels. This happened 2 years ago and her and the old costume designer still give out about it 😂
The worst one I've ever had was when I was in the ensemble and I missed a whole scene and half a song because I couldn't get my costume on in time. I had managed most of it but my shoes just weren't going on it was awful.
I was playing a princess in a Panto last Christmas and during my big solo, I started the song on my knees and stood up during the song. One night, my heels got caught on the netting of my dress so I couldn’t stand up so, while singing Celine Dion, I just had to rip my underskirt so I could put my foot down. Then, in the same show, I tripped going down the stair backstage right before the bows and broke my heel so I had to run on for my bows, in a huge wedding dress with a massive train, in a broken heel. Not my greatest show I’ve ever done
Oooo my lord i forgot about this one. I once did an amateur production of Oliver Twist and i played Fagin. I had these shorts that were waaay too wide, even with a safety pin in the back they kept sliding down. And not just down to where it's not comfy to walk in them, no. They could drop down to give my ankles a hug. So to keep them on, they gave me braces (I think they're called in English?) Clip thingies for pants. But when the show started and i got on stage they came off the minute i sat down. I was scared but that wasn't the worst part. The thing is that Fagin doesn't go off until the intermission and so i did, i think, two numbers (pick a pocket and be back soon. OMG NO also it's a fine life and I'd do anything) and a lot of running around. So four numbers in total fear of standing there in my undies and thus constantly lifting my pants. People said i did great being in character and all but really i was just mortified... I made it to the intermission safely and then they luckily stayed on for second half. Anyway that's my wardrobe fail. I hope it's my last 😂
when we let our cats out for the first time we blow on their noses and put butter on their paws (it might be the other way round. it’s been a while). i don’t know if it actually works or if it’s an old wives tale
I was wondering if letting your cat go outside is something that is a must in the Uk? Where I live it is more likely to see indoor cats that those who roam outside. Just wondering how it goes there. Your videos have been a joy these days, thank you for uploading so consistently! 😌
In England most cats have a cat flap (or some leave windows open or just open the door when they come home from work) and cats just come and go as they please. It's much rarer to have a indoor cat. My sister has 2 indoor cats but only because they are rescues from other countries and have never been out, as well as having a trauma background and therefore are indoors only but most go outside. Most love outside and basking in the sun so I think a lot of people think it's not nice to keep them indoors (from what I've seen anyway).
Does anyone else want to go and rewatch Book of Mormon, Les Mis & Heathers now that we've heard all these stories? 😂😂 just to see what they're talking about haha! x
When I've been in weddings I wait as long as I can to get my dress altered because I worry about weight change - I can't imagine being fit for costumes four months before starting rehearsal!
