I had no idea who you were until I heard about you on a podcast on the pints with aquinas youtube channel. I came to check out your channel and when you showed the book you wrote I recognized it as the book I was given during my marriage prep courses at church! We never went through it and they just handed it out to us to read on our own time which I didn't want to since something inside me told me once I read it I was going to never want to take birth control. Somehow I kept seeing that book on my bookshelf months after getting married and kept feeling God wanted me to read it so I eventually I did and it changed my life! I stopped taking birth control and have been blessed with two beautiful kids!
I somehow stumbled across your work and love the very healing and moving insight you share, on what God's purpose is in our bodies. Missing puzzle- pieces have been added to what Jesus already taught me. What I find very irritating and unbiblical, very anti the truth I believe is in this theology of the body, is the constant mentioning of something being catholic. Either we are part of the body of Christ or not! Either we walk in the TRUTH and are filled with the Holy Spirit or not. Either we're really born again and IN Jesus Christ or we're still lost. There are no denominations in Jesus Christ! Catholic, Mennonite, Baptist, Methodist, whatever.....is so Anti- God, Anti - Christ! God is ONE! Jesus has been calling out his true sheep, from the false 'institution of church' for quite some time. It's time to step into the freedom of "just' belonging to Jesus Christ! HE alone is our head, no man, no pastor, no pope. In Jesus Christ we are one, with Him and with each other. The World needs to see the unbroken, unscattered light and love of Jesus Christ in and through His people, who finally stop this fleshly activity of dividing. The bible is quite clear on who is the author of division is, it's certainly not God!
it's a great news, when I have found this RU-vid Channel, about the teology of the body of our pope Jhon P. II in English. Congrattulations...and I subscribed it, of course!!
@@joehouston2833 yes, I’m aware, but as Christians we do not co-sign on that since the new covenant was made with Jesus. Jesus came to fulfill the law. Polygamy was no longer acceptable.
@@joehouston2833 There are some laws that applied only to the Israelites and other laws that applied to all nations. The laws that applied to all nations still apply today.
