My husband has same problem but we are fortunate that we are in Canada and he had his surgery done 7 years ago and it's stable. But his little bit vision was gone before surgery. Otherwise his doing well. I would say go ahead but you have to know your surgeon very well. If you were having it done with our dr then i can grantee no problem. You'll have positive results.
