I love your videos Eddie and really appreciate the word of the day and the advice, and personal life experience that goes along with it. I like the word "Perspective". You offer a perspective of the mill that is different than Mark's, but it all ties in to teamwork and a common goal with each log cut. Another perspective is some logs may look plain or a bit ugly on the outside and when you look deep into them there is some real beauty to be found. Kind of like people. Hi Ed. Saturday 13th? I saw the first bad red oak log. However. The last log was black oak. Much better condition than the red oak. It's low boy decking. Maybe enough boards to alternate red & black oak? Security: Yes. My late mom was the " same" way. ( She was no "helicopter mom." I felt secure with her present. A story about security. Our adult daycare center's security system was saying. Something entered the building! One of the adult daycare center's male bus drivers scanned the building & found nothing. Then the staff came in & thier security system's alarm went off again. Someone let loose a balloon in the daycare's dining room a few weeks ago. The balloon triggered the adult daycare center's security system! ( The daycare center's director told us the story. Before our Tuesday's lunch. I'm a member for 3 yrs this October 1st, 2024. @@TheEddie1014 Oh! Yes! We had 3 Catalina converters of the daycare's 3 buses were missing in April/2023. The daycare's van was touched. But. They didn't steal the van's Catalina converter. So. The daycare immediately reported the robbery. Then got a security system installed. So. The buses & van don't get vandalized again. The police found the 3 robbers. They were part of a black market bus Catalina converter market. That's all I know. So far. Our daycare center is quite secured. Have a good Friday the 19th Ed. 🥰😊😉👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I like your elevated camera angle for that side of the operation, way up in the rafters, videoing conscripted laborer and part-time fugitive ZZ, you could then say, it's a Riff Raff-ter cam. WOTD: 'SECURITY'.... Security is always keeping an eye on ZZ, not unlike that beech mother, they often want to put their arm on fast and slippery ZZ, then cuffs.
Half past seven at night some nice boards out of that nasty oak log, I’ve given up on maintenance on my machines instead I’m rebuilding them it’s a more satisfying job , had the police looking for a drug addict that’s gone missing from a half way house told them I hadn’t seen or heard anything , he asked if I was sure there’s trees between me and the road and estuary and there’s machinery running so I wouldn’t hear anything and the dogs didn’t bark , then I got the old Sargent and he asked if I’d seen anything so I told him there’s a marsh to the back ,, bog ,, and an estuary to the front my guess he’s gone looking for drugs , the Sargent said that was his guess as well but they had to waste time looking for him they should keep them in the city were they can keep an eye on them, anyway have nice day
Hello to all that be in attendance here today to see this one big, ugly, unhappy and rotten log go bye bye. Mark still looks like he is playing Rockem Sockem Robots in the cab, ZZ be making the sling saw sing. Eddie be doing his stacking thing life is good and everything serene. As far as security goes it is such a fickle thing. You can make all the plans that could cover all aspects, all situations and things can and will still go wrong. So if it don't feel right in your gut, then expect the worst. Coulda, woulda, shoulda don't feed the bull dog.
