this season is unbelievably good. the first season was pretty good to me, but i felt like they were still trying to understand the world themselves. but i think they really found their feet in season 2. the world building & relationship development is so noticeable & good. & they really decided to lean into what the story is actually about. lots of fan service! i binged it all in about two days. it’s absolutely a beautiful show. you’re gonna LOOOVE it!

The 10th doctor talked about a new man sauntering away... with his actor. Who is finally Ginger! This role really lets David Tennant show his range. Playing someone who's centuries old, not of this world, lives in an ancient supernatural vehicle, saves the world by wandering around talking to people and performing the occasional extremely minor miracle, who is absolutely lost without his companion...
What I'm getting from this is that Crowley was a big deal as an Angel and way more powerful than people thought. I mean, he basically got delegated to create... creation. That's Big Time Angelling.
I finished the season hours ago and I am still just. wow. Just wow. Emotionally drained and yet I am still feeling too much at the same time. Michael & David are BRILLIANT and this story is just immaculate.

First I was really confused about the reusing of the actors because I knew I knew them but didn't realise where from for a second 😅 Also I had the theme song stuck in my head basically the whole day, while and after binging the whole season. 😆

The women in the cafe was in Dr who series 2 with David, Fear Her! That was a Dr who reference with Beelzebub Winston Churchill says to Matt Smith is that a new face he says this old thing had it for ages
Nina & Maggie both played Sisters in series 1. Idk if the second part is an intentional DW reference, but there are a lot of other references scattered around.

And since you mentioned anxiety, I hope it's ok to say - whether you always feel it or not, your on-screen confidence seems to have grown a lot over the years, and I just wanted to say well done. You present these videos in a very engaging way and your insights pretty much always make me consider things I didn't before or get me to be a bit more empathetic towards characters when I'm feeling judgy and grumpy about their life decisions (*cough* Winchesters *cough*). A & C are great characters but when the the storytelling doesn’t do the heavy lifting they can’t carry a series. Also Pterry Pratchett’s style is sorely missing from this series. The second season shouldn’t have been made.
There was a sequel than wasn't published (I think because it was when Pratchett got Alzheimer), so S2 was a new story to connect that sequel. That means S3 will have S1 style. And now Gaiman will add the storyline of Aziracrow trying to fix their problems.
