An Ecuadorian migrant suspected of rape, robbery, kidnapping and a number of other charges was arrested after a group of bystanders in New York City recognized and overpowered him, holding him down until police arrived. The suspect will soon appear in court to be arraigned. Correspondent Caitlyn Becker joins "NewsNation Now" with the latest details in the case, speaking to some of the good Samaritans who helped apprehend the man.

How come you call illegal to a migrant who has submitted the application already for political asylum, and it's in process?? As soon as they apply, they receive immunity while the process lasts, even if they end up being denied. I'm not defending them, just in case. Once I was smoking a cigarete at the door of a bodega on Roosvelt Ave. A white cop showed up very aggressive and started yelling at me, he called me a "f... animal". I just took a glance at his tag name and he got really mad for that. He shk me, handcoffed me and threw me in the patrol. I was pressed charges for lottering, and after 15 years, Im still having problems at the time to apply for a job. And now, look at these immigrants!!!
