Honestly I was completely turned off with the drug dealing baby. A common argument is that if it wasn’t under the name “good times” and was its own thing it’d be ok, but the drug dealing baby idea made me think “Nah, this is shit…”
FG died when Disney bought it. It immediately went from funny, crude, un-PC, well-made and savvy to weird, repetitive, politically correct, boring, poorly made and out-of-touch (which degenerate corporate liberal idiots are by definition). Like most giant companies these days except maybe Musk's, Disney and Netflix/Amazon have the exact opposite of the Midas touch. Everything they touch magically turns into excrement.
I couldn't handle the 16 seconds of the Good Times (2024) trailer. When it appeared on my Netflix account, I had to press the dislike button. The black community shouldn't embrace their negative stereotypes. It's bad enough black nerds are being ostracized by their "brethren". Don't get stuck on stupid.
