Tbh, we all go through some kind of hardship, even an 'easy' life is a hardship in a way because you suffer from a lack of purpose or drive and also it could be bad for your health. It's more about overcoming difficulties and becoming confident at doing that. I'll be honest, I haven't had a difficult life relatively speaking, but there have been painful moments and experiences that I tried to convert into positive energy and fuel so that I would become stronger through them. Bullying, being mocked, ridiculed, stress, pressure, expectations, deadlines, these are all things I have dealt with, even a major physical injury, I used to put myself through tiring and arduous running on the regular to build discipline as well, boxing and tennis also helped me build character, discipline and resolve because I had to rise to new challenges. So I would say I've overcome challenges in my life, that is the key to becoming tougher.

My father-in-law had ZERO electricity growing up. He grew up in a war torn country, surrounded by death and destruction.
