Fellow Legends, welcome! Today we dive into an excellent video by Bellular News about Destiny 2: The Final Shape. I spent way too many hours playing Final Shape week 1, so this was really interesting to watch. Honestly Skeletor saying "Maybe we should let this game die more often" is the general summation of when they start to care and they start "overdelivering." I like to think that Sony pulled the executives off their devs and told them to let them do their jobs or the executives need to start looking for new jobs but that just my own head cannon.

HAH If only Sony were that smart, we'd have bloodborne on all platforms by now. No, I like to think the dev team came up to Sonys execs, said "shut the fuck up" and went back to work, and the execs were so stunned they fell into a coma for 6 months while the team finished polishing final shape

@dyingstar24 Another head cannon that I can agree with as a potential "what happened that made this expansion a banger" Seriously though, I am going to retire after Heresy. It would open things up on my end to explore of more of what I can do. Like making Vtuber avatars, 3D animation, voice and physical acting and more.

Obviously, Oryx is the Stage, the Banner is the House. Left and Right mean "House Left" and "House Right".

The final encounter of the Legendary Story was the single hardest thing in the entire story to the point my wife and I dropped the difficulty to normal and we cleared the whole mission in less total time than we spent band our heads on that last encounter.

Final Shape is a good DLC, but it's better as a Segway put of the franchise. Leave on a high-note if you will. I've played since the D1 Beta, and I cannot tell you how much D2 was an overall disappointment. It's had it's ups and downs, but D1 only had ups after it's sub-par launch. Honestly if I can go back in time and tell myself, I'd probably suggest only playing the big DLCs at the most and nothing else. The game is toxic for people who know/want the game to actually be better, more immersive and respect their time/effort. The game otherwise is a practice in futility and patience. How long are you willing to put up with the same song and dance before they reach the point they need another Forsaken or Final-Shape to "save the game". Destiny 'cycle' from an og D1 vanilla (bad) > Dark Below/HoW (improvements) > Taken King (saved game) D2 launch (ok) > CoO/Warmind (bad/dying) > Forsaken (saved game) Again Lightfall (bad) > seasons (hold over content) > Final Shape (saced game)

I tried to play Destiny 2 a few years ago, dropped it a few days later 'couse it was too confusing. Now, i don't want to start a "this game is better than this other game war" but i never heard you mention it, so i have to ask. Did you ever play Warframe before?

I have off and on since initial release. I love it, but the grind gets a bit tiring and boring after a week or two. I highly recommend picking it up or coming back right now with the recent rogue-lite mode they added.

If I'm being honest, I think its a 7/10, but that's coming from me, someone who's been playing 10+ years. I'm not saying it's bad, it's passible. The ending mission is a 10, but I really don't like Zavala's story, and this campaign didn't help. But if people want to say its a 9 or 10, good. Makes me happy to see my problems are just problems with being a lore nerd

He basically said that he finished the whole campaign despite the connection problems of full servers and got one of the "hardest" high rarity weapons to get, but not the second because they removed one of the bosses needed to get it (probably was glitched).

7:17 I think with lightfall's player count and how it went horribly later might be cause a lot of people were sponsored to play it and because lightfall was so bad, they didn't want to return because they thought the game was bad. I thought it was scummy in some way how they sponsored people to play it, I don't remember my exact reasons though.
