Goodbye 2010s Decade 

I swear if this comment section is filled with a bunch of 9 yrs old saying their childhood is over I’m going to throw my self out the window

im not ready to grow up, im scared.

They should like idk at December or January they should put all the old shows for a week or month. Old commercials, old shows, old memories.

The sad thing is... all of this will be gone... we’re growing up.. we can’t share our childhood with our children the same way we experienced it. Am I the only one that’s terrified of growing up? Our generation isn’t ready. Our parents told us to appreciate our childhood... definitely wish I did more. All those memories are gone. Thank you for giving me some of these memories back. ❤️😭

I don’t want to leave our generation behind. I’m honestly scared about the future generations drinking smoking doing drugs as well as climate change. I hope that the world becomes a better place over the decade. I really hope for their sake that we can save our planet. No one will Blame you for climate change except you future kids. I can’t imagine having kids and not being able to share our childhood cause it was amazing. I am 16 years old and now realising, that althought I am not an adult yet, my childhood is already over. And it makes me sad.

The crazy thing is that it really did flash before our eyes. This was our childhood and we didn’t even notice! And now we have to say goodbye.

I'll be 20 in next year. I can't believe how time has passed me so quickly. And how technology has get advanced. Back then there was No Fortnite, No iPhones, No Wifi. All i did was be happy.

I'm crying. What hurts most about this is somewhere in between all of these memories, we grew up. It flew by fast and we can't get it back. But I'm really proud of us. I hope we can look back on stuff like this and keep our inner kid alive.

I will miss the 2010s decade but I am excited for the 20s as well, think of it as 2019 like 1999, the 90s culture didnt exactly end until further into the decade cuz the early 2000s was shaped by the same lifestyle and the way people seen things like technology for instance so I’m pretty much counting on the 2020s

When I was little my mom always said enjoy your childhood it won't last forever. She was right it is coming to an end and it is sad. I hate that my kids won't get to experience all of these things. Yeah, I can show them things from my childhood but the experience will not be the same.

It has been one hell of a decade. There have been so many ups and downs, I suffered everything. Felt happiness and even suffered heartbreak. Made some new friends and even lost some old friends. In this decade I really grew up as a teenager and even as a person. I had an amazing childhood. Thank you 2010's. Thank you so much for everything...

We all should've held on to our childhood while we still had it. I remember that feeling: As soon as I got home from first grade, I'd run to the couch and put on Tom and Jerry on the kids channel that began on channel 300. When the Reeses Puffs commercial began, that was my chance to run to the bathroom and hope to make it back in time for the beginning of the next episode. Another memory I have is Jessie. Never in a million years would I have guessed that Cameron Boyce would die young. Although this was more recent, I remember watching the end of Descendants 3. (If you haven't watched it yet, it had a few clips dedicated to Cameron and saying how we will miss him.) It also had clips from when he was in "Jessie". As I sat there, crying with my best friend, my mind took me to my childhood. It took me back to that old, brown couch I used to sit on everyday to watch that same show. I didn't care if I watched the same episode twice- it was all... part of me in away. When I heard the news about his death, my heart dropped. My parents used to tell me, "Enjoy your childhood now. You can never get it back." I always thought, "I want to be taller and older already! It's so much better!" Boy, was I wrong. I didn't keep track of the days and suddenly, I became a teenager. I never bothered to look at when our generation would "end". I thought we had more time. Just please, for the sake of all of us, keep these good times in your head. After 2020, sharing our experiences will be the only way to bring back everything. And one more thing... WE NEED TO MAKE SILLY BANDZ A THING AGAIN

Why is it the cereal commercials that get me? I remember memorizing commercials whenever I’d spend my day in front of the TV watching Disney or Nickelodeon. I haven’t seen a cereal commercial in years.

An era ends to give birth to another one, tears won't make us go back to our past so instead of being sad let's keep all of these memories in a box in our mind that we can open any time we want, so that we can move on knowing that is not so scary to grow up if you can accept it's happening and mostly if you know that nothing will erease what happend ❤

We're finally here guys, the end of our decade but the beginning of our stories. I don't wanna lose touch with my childhood and I'm the last person in line to let go but I know it's time. As I was growing I took almost everyrhing for granted except for my family. I also used to think that I was alone growing up but there are so many people just like me, afraid of the future, afraid of what comes next. I look back on what I've been through and imagine more people going through it too and I'm glad that we were all together, all feeling that same energy about all the amazing things that happened this decade. I know we weren't the greatest generation, I know we've had our ups and downs through the years but now lately, now that the decade is closing we've all been coming together to close it strong. "I'm so proud of this community," 😂 but I really am, we all nearly lived the same lives and now were here reminiscing about our lives wondering what is coming next. I look back and wonder why I wasted a lot of time but than someone told me something that made realise it wasn't wasted time since I enjoyed it. I think it's kind of funny that we're gonna be boomers, but I'm okay with that. Life had a way of getting to us through the years but here we all are ready to face the future and although we might be scared atleast we're doing this together. Well boys and girls, we may be seeing this as the end of our time but It's only just begun. So what do you say guys, are you ready to take on the future, whether It's aliens or some other crazy belief we can all share, I know I'm ready. What about you?
