I’m so proud of you for recognizing that cycle in your mental health…most people don’t take their psychological health as seriously as they should, so you’re already ahead of the game. Additionally, I’m so glad that you were diagnosed! Please don’t see your Bipolar Disorder diagnosis as a bad thing…’cause it’s actually a really good thing. For one, I’m sure it helped make sense of how you’ve been feeling lately…and secondly, you couldn’t tackle it if you didn’t know what it was, so now that you know what was troubling you, there are multiple ways to manage BPD. The first step is obviously getting a good therapist who you feel you can trust so you can open up to them freely…the more you share with them, the better they can help you, not only with medication, but also with coping mechanisms and they can teach you what signs and symptoms to look out for so you can be a step ahead of your BPD. It’s so wonderful to see a RU-vidr who’s stepping away from work and focusing on their psychological well being! It’s extra great to see a young man who’s taking his mental health seriously and isn’t afraid to share his diagnosis and current status with his audience…representation matters, and I promise you that there are boys, as well as other men, who watched this video and were struggling with their own situations…and saw that Bobby takes his feelings and emotions seriously, and they’ll follow your example. In our society, we men have always been expected to suck it up, deal with it, and power our way through life…and we’re told that we’re weak if we cry, if we share our feelings, if we’re vulnerable. However, humans are emotional creatures…we all have a limbic system and we’re all affected by hormones…so men and women both have a wide array of emotions and moods. And we all know how debilitating emotions & hormones can be…and ignoring them and shoving them down doesn’t help you in the long run. I’m glad that you’re taking time to focus on YOU, and your psychological well being…’cause a burnt out and broken Bobby isn’t good for you, and in turn, isn’t going to produce good content too. The reason so many people gravitate to your channel and your videos have so many views is that people love Bobby and appreciate watching a content creator who genuinely loves what he does…and that’s why so many people have said the same thing to you, please take as long as you need ‘cause your audience isn’t going anywhere, most importantly, we all want a happy and healthy Bobby…and believe me, when you’re enjoying making content again, everyone will see it in the quality of your content. PS - Please never forget that we’re social animals…we draw strength and peace from others, it’s not weak to lean on and open up to others…it’s smart & shows humility, and most people will cherish that act & be there to support you.

I saw the hurt in your eyes when you named your disorder. But I want to remind you that while we need to have names to understand the mental disorders we face, they are just that. Names. Names that serve as a way to comprehend and validate the difficulties we experience. Names that turn into codes that go to insurance companies. Names that help us find the right type of support to find wellness. So all that said, it's crucial that you remember that you are not defined by your diagnosis. You are so much more than a diagnosis, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed or scared. You got this!

As a mother who lost a child to mental health, I want you to know so many of us care for you and are cheering you on. The most important thing is that you recognize what you have and are dealing with, and do the work you need to get help. I’m a 45 year old teacher and “soccer mom” of 3. You’re the only reason that I’m obsessed with fishing! I absolutely love your videos. As someone who has struggled with the same mental health issues, I can tell you for sure that if you take care of yourself, it will get better. When it first starts happening it’s scary and jarring, especially around your age. Sometimes the lows are just your body telling you that you need to slow down a bit. There is new research on this. Youngin, I only just found you today and i have been watching your videos for several hours. Your excitement is so contagious and your energy is crazy but even the most energized battery doesn't stay energized forever!! I don't know why people look down on mental health or are embarrassed by a mental health issue. Its a health issue, plain and simple. If you had broken a leg, you would need to take a hiatus and spend a couple months healing. I pray your working with a good mental health professional and they can get you all sorted out and help you to understand how to see the cycles that your already catching. Your dream isn't done, your just reorganizing it to work with everything else you have going on in real life. Real life is not always easy but these rough patches make us such stronger individuals once we get through it. Enjoy all your fish, tanks, ponds, turtles, eels and whatever else you have. You've done such a wonderful job of saving so many little lives!

I'm not a professional fish hobbyist, but I do love them. Growing up in Trinidad and Tobago, the tropics, I've always had fresh water aquariums. I've had many exotics from the various rivers here too, along with imports 😁. I have friends who are as serious as you, but not on your scale! Mental health is very important.
