I never hated on Josh, in fact Getaway is one of my favorite RHCP albums, and Rain Dance Maggie is one of my favorite songs, but seeing this song with tabs really gives me a whole new appreciation for this era in RHCP. I am not a guitar nerd, but now I want to be one.

very very very very well played... I was specially curious about the solo...very good job man... I love this song, and I would love to cover it as well but the solo is killing me, such a hard technique for my bulky fingers :D I wonder how Josh was able to nail it while jumping around the stage... good job :)

Thanks! The solo is very fast, I started playing it slow and I sped it up progressively. Be careful with the muted strings and I think you will do a great job. :)

The best cover of this song that I've seen Congrats man, you are the best (I would put the tabs a little bit large and more easy to see cause its to small) BTW you look like John lol

How do you mute the g and b strings on the chord during the chorus ... seriously struggling with that part 4 some reason. Amazing cover though!

Thanks! I don't play the E and D strings with my fingertips, because doing that won't mute the g and b strings, so I play with the fleshy "belly" of my fingers, so they can obstruct the g and b strings. It's a bit awkward at first, but sure you will do it!

Hola! Utilicé un sonido distorsionado del amplificador (Mesa Boogie Single Rectifier), un overdrive MXR Wylde y mi delay Strimon Brigadier. Pero con que tengas una distorsión y un delay basta, la clave es que busques el sonido que más se te parezca a la canción original con las herramientas que tienes, porque no hay un único pedal que te de ese sonido, es la suma de varias cosas.
