It doesn't surprise me that they're winding down development on 2042. I just hope that they listen to people like you and your feedback for the direction of the next Battlefield. It's going to take time for a new game to be developed by a new studio, so I wouldn't be surprised if we have to wait two years or more. This really bums me out because we went through so much since the launch with stability, gameplay, etc and it finally started to feel great to me. I'd rather see them iterate on 2042 and make it incredible than start fresh with a new team and possibly build a game that the fans won't like. New studios are going to try and put their mark on the game, doing certain things different, and they run the risk of disappointing their fan base.
If they had two separate studios focusing on making different Battlefield games it would give them longer development time between each game, taking turns like COD does, which should result in better games so I'd be all for that as well. I also agree with taking all of the specialist crap out of the next game as well, we don't need it, it just made the game too cluttered. Hopefully they have had enough feedback from this game to make the next game good.
I mean makes sense that after 3 years game is playble isn’t??? Is not like you expect pay for a game and play it playble in first months 😂 is like you buy a fridge and he starts giving you cold water after 3 years and you must be happy 😂😂 doesn’t matter the 3 years behind when you drink it hot…now is finally cold and you are happy about….you never cry about your broken fridge! It’s ok you gonna play this game with bots probably for the next 2 years but that’s also ok i play Candy Crush and have fun so you can also feeling a GOD of Battlefield while killing them bots🤭Feel free to be part of my Candy Crush team anytime 😂 the game is also very playable i can assure you!
