I dunno if I would like a TV show if it wasn't animated just like the games. It has such a special art style and graphics, I would hate if it suddenly was animated. And I wouldn't like a live action show. The original German dub of the game has such an amazing and in my eyes, iconic, voice cast, I can't really imagine Rufus and Goal being voiced by different voice actors.

It isnt bad. The creators wanted the series to end with the ending of the current game as the final but the fans wanted a different ending because they were dissatisfied with the final outcome. So the developers sat down, created doomsday which leads to an even worse ending. And because the message of that game was still not understood people complain to this day.
