Thank you for the lovely complilation of Hickstead's life. It was so very very sad to see his final days. All we can hope is there is a Heaven and he is cantering around enjoying his "after life". RIP Hickstead, you did a bang up job!

Again another uneducated person. People who think they know it all. The horse had a ruptured auorta which rapidly led to heart failure. It was not abuse, you know it all. As to the money reference, if they want to keep their horses, they need money to pay for them.

@@peggichen4093 He was confused. If your horse suddenly fell wouldn’t you be confused? Eric didn’t know what was happening. He was trying to get him up to check if he was ok and what happened.
You have to make a living to take care of your horse and yourself. If they didn’t compete him, they would’ve had to sell him. A lot of things are better than selling him.

The fact he saved himself for Eric shows how much of a loving owner he was, if he was horrible Hickstead wouldn’t of even interfered

Лошади могут существовать в симбиозе людьми, легко, даря им здоровье., хорошее настроение, и мы им общение, заботу, защиту, любовь, но не в профспорте. Сколько лошадей поддерживают здоровье детей с дцп, аутизмом и т д. Там умеренные нагрузки. К сожалению, этот спорт прихоть, игра людей, и подчеркну, состоятельных людей, в большинстве, мы, люди, животные -расходный материал, для удовлетворения прихотей, могут себе позволить, и нести ответственность.. так устроен несправедливый мир хаоса.

Yes horses can support people with conditions but how do you afford the horse’s feed and stable? These sports don’t always hurt the animals. Those who care about the horses will make sure they’re happy.

Seit Tagen weine ich sehr. Hoffe mache nicht noch einmal ein schlaganfall. Habe eine gehabt in 2017 und bin gelemt gewesen. Jetzt sind 4 Jahren her und ich will auch wieder Motorrad fahren und noch Pferde kaufen ein ponny un donky
Guys. Your house just fell to the ground? He just ended some jumps and his horse falls. He isn’t a medical expert. Plus he finished so why would he still care about winning? I honestly don’t put any blame on Eric as people hating on him is only making him worse. He hasn’t looked for a new horse since Hicksteads death.

This is bullshit,those riders don't give a fuck for their horses,they dont groom them,clean them,spend time with them,all those things do their helpers, while riders only cimb up,ride and climb down, and think only about the prize and fame,those are cold hearted snobs who have others to bond with their horse. I saw it too many times and this is nothing different,If he knew him so well he would see his horse is exausted, and deserved retirement in 15th year,not push him to such competition....he probably bought another horse next morning...
