Yeah! I hope it opens up more - would be great for people in HK to be able to travel again. Although I must say it definitely felt safer in HK (in terms of risk of getting covid when out and about).
Wow!what a journey and what an impressive act you managed to put together! For some strange reasons I sensed a bit emotional and a slight sadness from this episode. Did you?
thats good you managed to give away or sell most of your items you wasnt keeping, why are alot of people leaving hong kong? them views from your apartment were soo good like being on a boat without it moving on the water, your blue skirt looks nice, you can tie your hair back again even though its a small ponytail
I agree! More people decided to leave during covid because of the restrictions on travel =/ Agree!! I miss the view already 😂 Haha thanks! Yep - getting too long...🤓
that must be sad for them having to leave if they didnt want to, must of been such relaxing views, your hair looks nice, is that your new rule if it can go in a ponytail it needs cutting, your hairdresser is going to be busy
@@lovesport4123 Yeah - the views around Hong Kong are truly amazing :( haha looks like it! I really liked the feeling of not having anything around the neck, especially during summer!
I loved many things about my stay in Hong Kong, but professionally and personally moving at that time ended up being the right choice for me. I do miss living in Asia, but I think that happens most of the time (when I move away from a place, I end up missing it haha). Some things that weren't too pleasant were: the increased cost of living in New York, and also I got so used to the transport being always on time in Hong Kong...it's definitely much cleaner and organised there! London might be different to NY though!
Are you born and bred in HK? I feel it's really depressing that China wants to take over and the most heart wrenching is watching our HK actors and stars changing. I find it so hard to accept. I hope HK remains it's identity and Cantonese language remains.
Nope, I didn't grow up in Hong Kong, but I lived there on and off for a few years and made lots of friends there. I definitely hear what you're saying-I think it's honestly a very culturally confusing time for the people. From what I saw, a lot of people in HK have similar feelings :(.
@@katopedia I don't blame them. I understand why they fought so hard. I think China if they have any class or decency should leave their children (HK & Taiwan) alone to grow and let them be. I mean if they truly cared as what they say then a loving parent allows others to be. Not to control, conquer or impose yourself into others. I am not a fan of this very bullish characteristic of the current leadership in China. I really hope they do not change HK and the world will not stand for it.
@@robocop581 I've been there and yes coffin beds are immoral and wrong and space issue but a lot of what HK is other than has a lot of extremely talented people.
@@jayqueWe ain't all poor in HK. The hard working and ambitious get ahead. Besides, if I used your logic I can quote the 86,000 homeless people and drug addicts in California but I won't stoop to your ignorant level. Is Homelessness and drug addiction more moral than caged flats? Go ahead, rank them
Very good question--I'd been considering it for a while and there were quite a lot of factors that went into it (e.g. personal/professional etc.) - I'll probably make a video to explain them!
@@paultsoi4918 Eastern Europe costs more than Germany… except one Ukraine (prior to the war). Is Turkey really cheap? They have fantastic food, sounds tempting.
