Good for you on trying a new scenario. Gotta do it while you are young or you'll become set in your ways. :) I hope you move goes much smoother than mine. I moved a month ago and have had to deal with 3 leaks (one from the disposal in the sink, then air conditioner drainer which was weirdly exposed and behind my bedroom door, and then the dishwasher which was really 'caused by the disposal again because apparently I have extremely incompetent maintenance people here whom didn't remove the plug in the new disposal causing a flood mini flood in my kitchen...never mind all the other stuff that's gone wrong). And yeah, I was crazy enough to move in July to a third floor in TX. Dumb, dumb, dumb!! I'm exhausted and my place is still a mess. But I cannot wait to see your new kitchen! I hope it's a lot bigger than what you've had to work with. I just cannot imagine working in the small space that you have or squeezing in all your kitchen goodies into such a tiny area. I love the kitchen I have now, but cabinet space is an issue, especially since I did not get a food closet. Ugh. Anyway, best of luck in your new endeavors and I hope you do get to Hawaii someday. I visited Boston many moons ago and LOVED it. I loved the historical aspect of the city and I thought the houses were cute. But you will freeze to death there if you think the Bay area is cold. LMAO

aaaawwww😳this got me really emotional. Maybe its because we r having the same transition in life. M moving from my parents house out to be on my own. It's something I really want but it's hitting more that I am grown and that my parents r getting old. they have been my biggest support system , always there to pick me up after life's battles, idk If I can live without them. How funny, I've lived in both Hawaii and Boston (never LA though, lol). Definitely recommend both! Though all three places can be quite expensive at times

As bittersweet as leaving is, I hope the adventures you find along the way are all the sweeter. (...and speaking of sweet, when you get down to LA, you must try Saffron and Rose, a little Persian ice cream shop in Westwood (if you haven't been there already that is) . They have some of the best ice cream I've ever had in my life.)

I live in the bay area too and I'm always cold! Lol but I love going to L.A. and the only reason is for food! My favorite restuarants are YOJIE, a japanese fondue place (its soooooo good) and Ruen Pair, an authentic Thai Restuarant! So excited for you and your family!

you'll hate la traffic. you will spend 30-40% of your life on freeway if you're driving most of the time. I would stay in OC and come up to LA downtown/Ktown for food! Isn't this video suppose to be a tour?

I think you need a caravan wagon and a beautiful Gypsy Vanner horse to pull it. You can hang your pots and cooking utensils off the side and don’t forget a brush for the feathers on the horse’s feet. That pulls the whole look together. Lol. Good luck in your adventures. Namaste 🙏 AM
