Check your Ordinary slots. Curios are a thing. Typically they are identified by being an Unique, Elite, or Exceptional card in an ordinary slot. Card rarity order goes 3 Exceptionals (Uncommon), 1 Elite (Rare) or Unique (Mythic Rare), then 10 Ordinary (Common) and 1 Site or Avatar. Curios and Foils appear in an Ordinary slot. Curios are assumed to appear 1 per every 100 booster boxes. I opened one full case (6 booster boxes) and was 99 cards from a complete playset. Also important to note that rarity also denotes how many of that card can be in your deck. Unique = 1. Elite = 2. Exceptional = 3. Ordinary = 4.

Great video. Unlike Magic, the foils in Sorcery do not curl. Next set is based on the knights of the Round Table. They have started on the art already.

Hey, I'm curious about getting into sorcery and as a cedh player i love the high level stack interactions and combo lines. Does sorcery have anything like this? Or is it more akin to chess, no interacting in each others turns, no searching library etc Also i understand there is a far more limited card pool, but does deck building feel as creative? And is there a gradual consensus forming on a multiplayer format like commander? Thank you

A buddy donated sorcery TCG bulk cards for me to review on my channel, great art. I do wonder about the games long term value, it can only be played on paper. I do want one of those headless haunt, love the headless horseman lore.

Same! I didnt pull the trigger on the kickstarter because so many kickstarter games were failing. Now i regret it. The sorcery game is awesome!

First pack, Cave-In and Dispel are MtG cards too. Also, you're getting Avatars in your elite/unique slot, from what I've seen in other videos they're supposed to be the last cards in the pack. You seem to be shorted a few Elites/Uniques by this.

The issue with these types of games vs MTG, Yugioh or Pokemon. Is that it is a lot harder to get reliable games with other people. I play MTG because thats all anyone plays and its easy to play they dont have to learn anything new. It has been this way for the last 20 years at least.

This looks interesting, but I hate how every card game is going to get compared to MTG.

I just can’t get into full art cards :( the way these are cut and look makes me think card pieces for a board game.

My friends and I just sold our magic collections to buy this game, these were cedh level collections. It's the kind game that it doesnt matter if the rest of the world doesnt play, as long as there's one more. But I have a lot of faith that with the correct push to spread word. This will be the game that executes the parasite Wotc has become.
