isagi a savage, bro really just denied bachira his main character moment

I'd like to point something out about what Isagi said in the last scene because it's kind of a mistranslation.What he actually said is something along the lines of "I believed that you'd manage to come here alone" which gives different meaning to Isagi's words.He's not just telling him he predicted what was going to happen.He's telling him that he had faith in him, that he'd manage to go all the way without needing anyone else - and that faith in him resulted in Isagi's prediction, which I find very cool.

This is easily one of the greatest scenes ever when you consider everything Bachira’s been through. And it’s a good thing that he only gets better from this point

Isagi really just destroyed all that buildup with a "I knew you were gonna do that"

It's crazy to think that the only reason Bachira didn't end up scoring the Goal was because Isagi simply believed in him and his skill. Isagi knew and trusted that he could get all the way to the goal by himself.

the aura changing to yellow...this was the best part for me, it was special

I liked how they did this, except for that goofy spin he did while Nagi had his shoulder 💀

Some people say he was doing nothing during his build up but that's a whole skill called juggling where you keep the ball from touching the ground. The way he caught the ball behind his neck (neck stalling) is such an iconic skill from some of the greatest players of all time (R9, Ronaldinho etc...) and extremely used in freestyle where it's so unconventional it makes the opponent stagger. the way he was juggling the ball was so that none of the his opponents would commit to a full on tackle. That's how he used to dribble, before the monster even appeared. He finally claimed back his primal form where he can beat anybody on 1v1. That was beautiful, The fact that Isagi even beat him there when he has awoken. Great episode.

Bachira is my favorite character in BlueLock I was so hyped to see his awakening

Bachira's OST's always hit the best. But now that he's awakened everything's going to be more 🥵

For me this is probably the best scene so far in the anime.Bachira's awakening was insane in terms of skills, the entire scene was very emotional (the V.A. did an incredible job) plus this top tier OST.I was really rooting for Bachira to score this, but I think he proved himself without actually doing it eventually.

Bachira is hands down the best side character ever in sports anime. This part always had me conflicted, if Bachira were to score that goal, it would arguably be the best goal in Blue Lock! First time reading this, I found myself mad that Isagi blocked it, and proud of him at the same time 😅😂

The OST they choose for Bachira's awakening is perfectly conveys the emotions felt at the moment

Bachira went all-out and Isagi wasn't having it😭

“But from now on, I’m going to be dancing alone” BRO I WAS TEARING UP 😭

Crunchyroll's actually updated the subtitles on the website which really changes the entire ending of the scene. Instead of Isagi at the end saying "I knew you'd do that Bachira. I just knew you'd go it alone." he now says: "I knew you could do it Bachira. I knew you could get here all by yourself."

The OST was amazing. I truly believed Bachira would start crying after finding his soccer again. Truly an emotional moment for me in this series.

Ngl this scene almost had me tearing up considering all Bachira went through and the internal struggle he had trying to re-find his true purpose for playing soccer. Props to the VA for putting so much emotion into every line, especially the "Goodbye, monster", and the music team because this instrumental went hard

Another translation for what Isagi said, 信じて“I *believed* that you would do that” implying only because Isagi knows Bachira so well and believes in Bachiras abilities that he could predict Bachiras next moves because she believed Bachira could evolve and awaken his true abilities.

Bachira: *having an emotional character moment* Isagi: “Ok. And?”

They genuinely went nuts on this. Greatest satisfaction is seeing the source material done justice 🔥

Isagi never actually said that he knew what bachira would do it’s a miss translation, he said that he believed in Bachira and knew that he’s be able to get to where he is now himself isagi is just proud of him

I really like this clip because you can see in his face how scared Bachira is to go it alone without the monster or Isagi, but he does it anyway because he knows he has to in order to win. Actually kind of sad to me.

While Bachira didn't score, he still reached his own goal. Both monsters noticed him, they saw Bachira awaken.

In that moment, Isagi Yoichi's play surpassed that of Itoshi Rin. If his right foot that blocked Bachira Meguru's shot had been just a centimeter either to the left or the right, the fate of these eight people could have been different. However, the ball randomly, mercilessly, even cruelly landed at the feet...of the winner.
