Dogs are better friends than people.

i lost my dogs a few years ago and the pain still there.

They deserve a thousand years.

After 16 great years with my little min pin girl Ginger, when the dreaded time came, it was one of the saddest day's in my memory ,I still haven't got another, It has been over a year now ,the memories I have now are priceless to me and will be cherished forever!!

Beautiful, just beautiful. My Golden is 16, he's slowly failing, and every day is a gift. I'm sorry for your loss.😪

The loss of a beloved pet is about the most profound thing one can experience in life, it is life altering.

I have a German Shepherd, I named him Ryker, he is the best friend I have ever had. I understand how you feel. When Ryker leaves me I know it will the saddest day of my life, until then I will live each day with him the best I can.

My dog passed away yesterday. He was my best friend for over 14 years. I loved him and he returned that love a 100 percent. I know he is in heaven and I will see him again someday.

Those who have never had a dog or cat will never really understand. Time and lives pass away. The love is eternal.

My girl lost her live when she was just 1 year old due to a snake bite. She was a rescue and finally duing well after a long struggle. It feels like yesterday...

I always thought that I hope that I would never die before my two dogs would. I don't know what to do when my hounds would have a new family. Would the keep them inside and fed well and them a lot of good loving. Would they know that I have great memories with them. What if......................... Good morning Cooper my friend. O' my darling Boddie beagle and Basset mix. I'm 75 now. I have always had a couple of hounds around. Good God I will miss them. I'm now in tears. Looking into their eyes. I'm devastated.. But I am happy . Tear of joy I know. I love you both. at the same time I weep. I'm 75 years old and have had several good hounds. I'm not a hunter at all. But my boys love to go out and chase something up the tree. We take some pictures and move on. I have plenty of raccoons, fox and possomes at our backdoor. Time to come in boys. dexter was only 7... he inspired 4 of my friends to get a dog.. because dexter was the best buddy.. one day he started breathing heavy.. 12 days later he was gone 9 days before his 8th birthday.. i regret everytime i would get mad at him now.. i wish the whole world could have met him

I had a good friend.an 8 week old long haired German Shepard.i named him Tyler I had his company for 15 years .at one point we were homless.a good friend mine had a car on his drive and let me and Tyler stay in that car for a year .that dog kept me alive as we went through a long cold winter. He was with me when I met my wife then our children .15 years we spent together.i miss that dog so much brings water to my eyes when I think of him.such trust and loyalty.i could never have another dog .it broke my heart when he passed .

I have lost 3 German Shepherds. One just yesterday. I hope I will be reunited with Murray, Axl and Geno at the Rainbow Bridge.

This brings me back to our girl "Layla" 2 years ago in March...we had to put her to sleep...she had kidney failure. She was the largest part of our lives. I miss her every day. So sorry for your loss.

I lost my best buddy/friend August 12, 2019. I still haven't gotten over his death. If it wasn't for him (Matrix) I wouldn't be alive today. I will miss him forever and my heart breaks every day. I loved him more than anything. There is no other dog that could replace one of the greatest German Shepherds in the world. He taught me what no human could teach - unconditional love. I will find him again when it is my time. I know he is waiting for me. I will do anything and everything in my power to be with him again. I will not let my boy down!!!

Mator our last dog was adopted from folks who left him he took up with us best dog we ever had loosing ever one was a desaster all cattle dogs yes we have cattle farm it’s so sad to lose a paw hug friend. I had a shepherd named Gunther, he died 2 yrs ago. I was divorced so I hardly saw him. I feel awful for that. I remember when we first got him, I had him stay in the bedroom with me for a couple days til he got use to us. He was a great dog.

Cancers taking my baby girl. I've tried, however, I'm losing her this Monday 4/22/24. She is a high spirited, loving, cuddling, prancing, wiggly, beautiful brindle dog 9+ (ole english bulldog). Lost my beautiful Rottweiler 2015 his name was Reuben he was a rescue dog I got him when he was about 5 years old he passed away in his sleep when he was nearly 12 and it still hurts today only managed to get a new pup recently he is a fantastic french bulldog called hank he will be loved and looked after just the same Reuben was RIP Reuben I will see you one day on the other side of the rainbow bridge

I am so sorry for your loss. Indian legend says: “When a human dies, there is a bridge they must cross to enter into heaven. At the head of the bridge waits every animal that the human encountered during their lifetime. The animals based on what they know of this person, decide which humans may cross the bridge... and which are turned away”. That would be karma at it’s finest. 🐾♥️🐾

Fear not! I have read several NDEs where people have been reunited with their pets. They are having a blast and are waiting for us to cross over. God will have in heaven what made us happy here on earth but millions times better. Can’t wait to get there, I hope. Have many waiting on me too! The best thing for a loss is get another asap. Well that brought me tears. An absolutely beautiful tribute to a loyal friend. I will lose my GSD soon. He will be 11 in March 2024. He has degenerative myelopathy and is going downhill quite quickly. He can barely walk now but he loves his "wheels" and still thinks he's a pup. I'll be heartbroken when I have to say goodbye to my beautiful boy.

I know that awful feeling. We will never see them again on this Earth, but I know we will be with them one day, only in a more perfect, eternal place where is is no suffering or pain, only LOVE!

Last year I lost my best friend. He was seventeen and saved my life at least two times , but as I look back more than that. He was a great grouse hunter and made me look good. We were more like brothers. I have had a lot of loss in my life and at a young age but his hit the hardest.

6 months ago I had to let my beautiful baby girl Kylee (15 yrs old ) cross the rainbow bridge and it was the hardest thing I ever did. Nothing is the same anymore. I cry multiple times a day. A lot of people say that it's just a dog but it's not , she was my little girl , a member of our family .

Thank you for this memorial.As i sit in my back yard thinking of our beloved ZZ Topper, i viewed this video with a heavy heart for our best friend of 13 years. We lost him because of hip dysplacia, horrible! As i sat in the back yard with him the last day, a bald eagle flew across and dipped his wings for Z. They knew! He was special, knew it the day we picked him out. Again thanks.
