Kakyoin is one of the most interesting and least used JoJo characters. He should've been in the place of Polnareff, as the 2nd most important main character, but he barley appeared. He seemed like a calm collected person, but was depressed and had some pretty big issues. RIP MILF man. You will be missed.
Agreed honestly, like Polnareff's a funny guy but I got really tired of seeing him in the spotlight constantly. It's such a damn crime that we never got any notable bonding moments between Jotaro and Kakyoin, like them just goofing off and being actual teens. Or perhaps Avdol educating the two kiddos on stands and helping them better use/control their abilities
*spoilers if you press read more* After Pucci screw over the universe, Kakyoin sings at Jotaro's non existent funeral as vice versa happened when Kakyoin became our favourite donut
His mom cared about him a lot when he had no friends at school, blaming herself to be the worst mom But until now, she doesnt know that he had make the first friends, great friends, for 50 days since he never had a chance to come back and tell his mom ;^;)
Hisminesty 1010 So the very man who made Joseph hate the Japanese sung his opening? Maybe coda made it up to Joseph BY singing his OP, which is why Joseph seems to like the Japanese more in part 4.

Kakyoin was honestly the best part of Stardust Crusaders for me, despite how little he was used. Almost criminally underutilized as a character. Polnareff was great too, but really, he was just the young stand in for Joseph with a better stand. Kakyoin had a better, richer history and character development to explore. More so than that, his ostracism from society for having something those around him could not see; it struck a cord with me. It reminded me of what I had been, and how in his last days, he met true friends and really lived. I've met some real folks too, real friends and I began to live a little more. Kakyoin had the greater character, he was cool headed, easy going, well spoken and soft, the perfect counterbalance to Jotaro's more stoic, quiet and harsh exterior. He truly did care about Holly too, more than just what the jojokes would have you believe. And that shows in the fandom's appreciation of him. In the years since his death, all the memes and "milf hunter" jokes aside, Kakyoin has been painted as Jotaro's true JoBro. I distinctly remember the fan comic where Jotaro visits Kakyoin's grave just to talk to the Emerald Boy one more time. I'd give anything to have Kakyoin in further parts taking his story into account more, or, at the very least, for him to have somehow survived the encounter with DIO to have small cameos in parts 4 and 6. Sadly, our reality is just as harsh as fate is to the Joestars and their loved ones. Rest easy, Kakyoin. Your Emerald Spash could never be deflected from my heart.
That was the best thing I've ever seen and read. I'm also someone who had some... Difficulties to be around people. And I know this is a fictionnal character. I know that, but I couldn't help to be truly sad and shock about his death. Kakyoin's the one of the most well written character I have seen in each anime. Many characters are dead in this Serie, but I'm not recovering from Kakyoin's death. XD So, I know Araki sensei is creating Jojolion but I wish someday, he will make an alternative universe with Kak alive. Returning to Japan with Jotaro and become the best friend (and more, I hope :p JotaKak) he ever had!
Stardust Crusaders was a mess of plot holes, broken abilities, and the ultimate ass pull ending. But if there's one thing it did right- was build amazing characters, with so much heart and meaning that their deaths became some of the most impactful moments on JOJO in its entirety. In loving memory of Iggy, Muhhamud Avdol, Jean Pierre Polnareff, Jotaro Kujo, and most of all, Noriyaki Kakyoin... 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠
Plot holes? Yeah Ultimate asspull? Well it seems you forgot about Joseph "I launched an actual god into space with a volcano" Joestar. And when it comes to Broken abilities.. Well, A certain requiem stand may have some disagreements
@@illusoghiaccio lmao he doesn't die in any of the parts- fucking Joseph dies of OLD AGE in his fucking BED next to his wife. No stand battles for him.
It’s so lonely. So empty. The rasp of Coda’s voice sounds like a mix of desperation but also defeat. A bittersweet farewell. The beginning of the bridge gives off a sour twang in my heart, like spoiled milk. The silent spaces in between makes my heart ache in anticipation, and when he starts singing again, it always jumps, just a little.
