Intel Arc GPUs have improved massively throughout 2023. But, I wanted to see for myself if you could daily drive an Intel Arc GPU for both gaming and video editing. So, for the whole of January, I'm going to be using my Arc A750 in my main PC and I will report back in February with how it went!

I switched rx6600 to arc a750 and i'm so happy, montage and doing Photoshop stuff on this is so good. I'm playing valorant, DBD and every thing is working very good, better than on rx 6600.

From what I've seen, the A750 is similar to a 6650 XT in gaming performance, while costing less. And for the Adobe suite, Arc wipes the floor with AMD. So a win win for us mate!

Surprised you didn't get the A770, bit it's not a huge jump up. But if you have a 12th or 13th gen Intel cpu, the Intel GPU and apu work in unison on Photo and video editor.

Brandnew a750 is $180 in my country while that rx6600 is $199 If i do sell my 6700xt pc sometime later I might try Intel build after this

The Arc GPUs are looking good, wonder if they're going to release anything more performance next year, competing with the 4080, you should try older games like GTA IV, Saints row 2, Portal 1 or 2.

I'm not sure if there is an expected release date yet, but Intel has made several announcements about their next generation cards. The current Alchemist lineup is more budget focused, and the new Battlemage lineup is supposed to be higher performance and likely higher price.

have fun with ya 8gb card lol i looked at intel arc and thought fucking hell they are too cheap so then i chose a 4070ti coming from a 1070 i still love. i cant wait to get my new creator parts, i just received my Hyte Y70 case in white and its amazing.

Both have similar performance.... Buy whichever is cheaper... Tho the a750 is better by a small margin

I think it's best to stick with your RX 6600. Intel are rumoured to release next-gen GPUs this year. So, I'd hold off for a bit.

RTX 3080 10 GB pleb, RTX 3090 Ti 24 GB only way to go. Just kidding the 3080’s are fine for most 1440p games except the ones that use crazy amounts of VRAM. I do the same thing on mine, mostly game but use it for everything else. To have a gaming only PC is kinda silly imo since these things are so overpriced these days. Had a 3080 myself pretty good card but I got scammed on it. Thought I was buying the 12 GB version but seller sent the 10 claiming it was a mistake so would have just bought a 3080 Ti if I knew mine was only a 10GB card. The 3090 Ti popped up local few days before Christmas for $700 so jumped on it. Talk about an overkill GPU lol.

That's the way to do it mate! Intel and AMD need to loosen Nvidia's grip on the GPU market ever so slightly. Then we can get some real competition!

lol u can believe the hype of AMD. whos the dog of CPUs? INTEL. whos the dog of GPUs? NVIDIA. ur cores and threads and single and multiple dont mean shit. its how the whole thing operates under configuration with the parts. i know some guy had a i9 CPU and a 4060ti. i had to laugh as thats a stupid configuration. my configuration is perfect i7 14700kf with a 4070ti. if i was to choose a i9 £500 CPU then i would be getting the 4090 to be the correct configuration. i have a 2015 build with i5 6400 and asus b150m pro gaming motherboard and 8gb of fury hyper x ram and GTX 1070 and its still great and i use it with a aw3423dwf alienware monitor. keep repping AMD home boy lol my GTX 1070 wipes the pants off a PS5 i checked it out the other day with fallout 4.

I just built s Lian Li Lancool Mesh and grabbed a Sparkle A750 OC 3 fan GPU from MicroCenter. Picked up the Arc 4 weeks ago for 189.00 US seems stable and runs fine so far.

2:57 KMT, has Intel since launch of ARC a750 to now indicated anything about RGB? Maybe the Acer or ASRock versions might have since they HAVE RGB ON THEIR CARDS!! The a750 doesn't even have much light like the a770, maybe go get that version and test it if it has any RGB controls for whatever you want!

its good for momental low price while a770 are bad for price despite of 16gb of vram but performance are maybe 10% better then a 750 while price over 50% higher

ProYamYamPC : the A770 16GB GDDR6 is the only way to go and even that for well under 250 bucks....all lower tier models are just to obsoulette and since the drivers don't perform nearly as good as they should and with all the problems in countless games, that A770 would be a mercy buy at 200 bucks.

Ive been running a a770 16gb since amd killed radeon vii support. Its been a really good card. The only crashes i get is when i attempt to overclock it.

@Soddus. it works via the display port. I have an asus monitor with freesynce and It works fine. In the intel control. It's called adaptive synce.

Most GPU’s crash when overclocking since they already come almost maxed out from the factory. Little as 100Mhz OC can crash any card and Intel had to release these running on the ragged edge to keep up with the performance of the other brands GPU.

I'm glad to hear that. As for overclocking, I tend to leave all of my cards stock apart from a memory overclock and an undervolt. It could be something that I can look into.
