As a van lifer, an alternate lifestyle guy and a private entrepreneur (ex Folded Homes) from the previous generation (we're 68 & 70), it is so compelling to watch you and your posse of fellow-travelers in Panama build community and sustainable good-hearted business. I live in Panamá and I have been watching you guys for a while. Certainly your opportunities to have overcome adversities and persevere will help you face any upcoming trials. Just thinking about Vermont winters after living in the tropics gives me chills! But I wish you success in your transition and in realizing the dreams you have had in this coffee business. Liberty Oak Oasis has been in the works for three years as well. A retreat space for Veterans and Pastors dealing with mental health issues. The only coffee that will be served will be Morning Movement coffee. Can't wait to be open. Having guests and serving all that you guys have to offer in the future.

I remember getting one of your candles in a giveaway where ya'll asked what state you got Lola in. I burned maybe half of the candle over time and it had a sad ending when I got in a roll over accident in my van. A lot of memories went with that rig but we keep moving forward. Even if it's in small steps. 8 months later I got into another collision (both of these were caused by the other driver). That second one tore me down. I just got a new setup and was working on making it home. After a month of bot being sure where I was going with life, I Rebuild that rig and continued Onward. Almost 2 years later I am on the road driving towards Panama and will be taking the bike from there to Argentina. I feel like I was failing at life. That it was trying to tell me to take a different path but it has all led me to this. A journey with no known end. These "failures" i like to look at as lessons. Some might think your businesses you tried were a failure, but they are truly just the learning blocks that got you where you are. Congratulations you guys and keep being rad!

This is so magically serendipitous! I've quietly followed your videos for years, taking so much inspiration into my life, bus conversion, and what I radiate into this world. Now I am life-sharing at Heartbeat in Hardwick (about 30 minutes away), an intentional community living in unison special needs adults, with a bio-dynamic 160 acre farm, while supporting the process of moving into a new chapter. I am so excited to watch you all grow through this next chapter, and I would love to talk farther. We have a large network in the area, a beautiful property with lots of resources including a commercial kitchen, wood shop and many other things. We've had dreams of opening a coffee shop, working on documentaries, and building tiny houses too. It would be really cool to explore collaborating or at least getting to know each other!
