I definitely agree with you on that Tamzin did an amazing job of showing us just how loved he was and how much he will be missed REST IN PEACE PAUL RITTER 🕊🙏Thank you for all the amazing days I spend just re watching the episodes every time never fails to make me laugh some how 🙏🙏
You can see Tamsin is heartbroken in this clip. How she didn’t burst into tears is a mystery. I’d have been sobbing. The way she kept herself together is amazing. Love her.
Having recently watched Chernobyl back to back about 3 times and also being a regular watcher of FND I was watching the final episode of The Trial of Christine Keeler when we meet her barrister. He seemed so strangely familar but I couldn't put my finger on who it was and to my shame I had to consult the IMDB and it was a real facepalm moment to realise it was Paul, OF COURSE it was Paul. That's how much he disappears into a role. The only other actor who is in the same league is Melissa Leo.
@@cbrboy76 Yes in James Bond Quantum of Solace (2008) but he only appears in that film on a monitor , and has no fight scenes which is a shame , don't why he is cast when he barely had any screen time
I cry everytime i see something like this… then, throughout the day things will happen where I have to just say “shit on it !”, then I smile thinking about the many times The tremendously talented Paul Ritter’s character, Martin Goodman has made me laugh to the point I never thought I would stop, over and over again. And will continue to do so,every time I watch an episode of Friday Night Dinner I don’t know that I’ve ever really had a favorite actor or actress until I learned a Friday Night Dinner. And I can easily say Paul Ritter wasthe best of the best!!! I’m an American that loves British comedy. My obsession started when I decided to give The Inbetweeners a shot. I’d already watched a lot of British crime & drama series but had not explored British comedy. So glad I did. It is,by far,the best!!! I think it’s because I have a similar personality to many of the characters I am so fond of. RIP PAUL RITTER
You could tell she was getting really upset bless her I cant imagine losing a close friend or a fellow cast mate I feel so bad and may paul ritter live in our memories 🙏🏻
So beautifully done by Tamsin Greig, and the documentary well worth a watch for any fans of Friday Night Dinner if you haven't seen it. Such a funny and nice series.
Absolutely love the fabulous wonderful funny man and total legend Mr Paul Ritter heartbreaking for everyone but I hope Paul knows how much we all loved him the show and the actors/actresses Godbless him. R.I.P. and Thankyou for bringing joy and laughter to our tvs. Love to his beautiful wife family and friends. Friday nights won’t be the same.xxx💔💙💔💙💔🙏👏👏👏
Rip Paul Ritter Nobody would've been able to play Martin Goodman as good as you did You made alot of people laugh during your time, even the people who were there beside you You will be missed but never forgotton. Shalom🤣😔
R. I. P Paul ritter. I had a brain tumor as a child and it haunts me when I hear of someone being killed by one. The dad was my favourite character as well. So sad.
I only discovered this show a few months ago & I'm now totally addicted ! Working my way through all the back episodes is great fun but I'm saddened that the wonderful Paul Ritter is no longer with us. He created a truly unique character that has on many occasions had me laughing so much it hurt. RIP.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful tribute. I am still in floods over Paul’s passing. Such an incredibly talented man. He will forever be one of my favourites and the reason I ask my lads about their “females”... My heart goes out to his family, friends and to all of his fans. Shalom
RIP Paul Ritter (Martin!) he truly brought my family together and made us closer. He made me smile when I wanted to cry… made me laugh when I was down. I could always put on Friday night dinner and just feel better after seeing him. I and all of the people who loved him. With miss him massively. Thank you Paul and rest in peace ✌️ 🙏 😘
A fan of both actors for a while, together they were superb in the show, outstanding . This is such a moving tribute to him, because it's real, the true feelings of friendship and loss come through,he must have been amazing to know, may you rest now, thank you for your marvellous work.
I watch very little TV but yes I watch FND but the best original drama writing is on the radio and Paul Ritter was in the excellent Holding back the tide with originally Ronald Pickup, who was so good, and now Philip Jackson.
Paul Ritter was one of the most underrated and off-the-scale talented actors this county had ever seen. He is great great loss to that industry. His stage work was nothing short of genius.
Paul was hilarious in Friday Night Dinner, but he was also brilliant and absolutely terrifying as General Winter in a series called Resistance. Very versatile actor. RIP
Paul played the character of a middle aged dad from England so well... and genuinely seemed natural, very rare for TV nowadays... rest in peace Paul ritter
I remember the day he died, I opened Google and when i was about to search whether or not there'd be another season my heart dropped when i saw the article of his death. Rest in piece Paul Ritter, its incredible to view your legacy and youll be severely missed
