Sistar's disbandment really hit me harder than I thought it would. They came from literally nothing, had to fight in the toxic kpop industry to make a name for themselves, struggled against stereotypes, get mistreated by their own company to come out as some of the most respected artists in Korea. I'm proud to have known them for 7 years and witnessed them become Legends. They will set a new standard for groups on how to disband gracefully and with Korea still loving them. This is probably a little obvious but for anyone who's interested...when the girls were deciding on what to name their group they chose "SISTAR" (which is of course sister + star). They decided on this name because before they even debuted they were already close like sisters...the star part was a promise to themselves before debuting that they would become stars in the entertainment industry together as sisters. Also, in their goodbye teaser: S - See you again I - It's not goodbye S - Separate ways we may go T - To achieve new dreams A - All the memories together R - Remember and cherish forever. I can confidently say they achieved the dream they set together as sisters which is why they are ready "To achieve new dreams" as individuals. It's only now that I truly understand why they are disbanding. For anyone who doesn't know: today also marks the day they first debuted making this an exact 7 years for them. I just wanted to say soooo much love and thought was put into this group, their goodbye stages, their fans, and into each other. As a STAR1 who has been with them since the beginning I have to say I am so proud of them, and although it hurts a hell of a lot my heart is at ease knowing they will always be SISTARs. #thankyousistar

In the last 3, they were sitting symbolising that they are spending their last moments as SISTAR with Star1's but in this performance, they are now standing showing that they are now ready to leave us😭😭😭 I'm crying a literal river. Seeing Dasom at the end and how she's really close to crying broke my heart! I get goosebumps everytime they performed Lonely but this time it was... different. A true Goodbye stage... With them disbanding it feels like my best firends are leaving me.

I've been trying to hold in my tears since the announcement but today, seeing them perform like this, I can't help but cry. I have so much respect for these ladies. Their whole disbandment shows respect and professionalism. They must be hurting as well but they gave their fans such a precious gift before they leave. These ladies are legends. 2021 : cannot forget my 4 angels.

I was not a fan of Sistar, from the beginning, so i did think that their disbanding will not hit me so hard. But i was wrong, it made me obsessed much more than anyone did. Recent days, I watch all their performances n read all the comments again n again, so now i cant handle the sadness anymore, lonely my heart. Then i realize how ridiculous when some other girl groups have much more fame n fans but they cant do the same thing or at least a half of what Sistar (a girl group from a smaller company and not that famous) does for their fan now. Their disbanding was really a legend, i cant expect anything more. So #thankyouSistar with all my heart. 💖

White and gold - perfect colors for the Queens. Until now, I still can't believe that this is literally your last stage. And I'm sure it'll hit me hard the next summer when you don't have a release. But then again, by that time, I don't think I'd follow Kpop anymore (except for your individual releases). 7 yrs ago, if someone told me I'd be in this state because of a group disbanding I would've look at them crazily. I guess for outsiders, these kind of feelings are difficult to understand. But you were not just any other group to me. You were a part of me this past 5 years. I saw you grow amidst the ridicule when it comes to your appearance and your talent. They doubt your closeness and question if you were ever close at all. They try to disparage your image - they call you slut, an iljin group, a sajaegi product. But look at you now: you have just become a legend. And more so, because you have given us such beautiful goodbye. Not many groups disbanded can claim that. Not many fandoms were honored this way. Many has already voiced their thank yous but I dont think i love yous were given enough. And you deserve so much love. So, queens, let me say I love you and I will continue to support and follow your individual endeavours. May the future be kind to you.

this last stage made me cry their voices, the fanchant, i was holding the whole time but hyorin high note was the end of me, i'm gonna seriously miss them they are queen of vocal, sultryness, sexyness, class, beauty, goofness, dorkness, stage presence, and most important queen of summer :( it hurt so bad that all my fav from the 2nde generation are slowly all disbanding. FIGHTING to each one of them, as their SISTAR name i wish that their SISTER bond never broke and that they ll each of them follow and reach THE STAR that they dream to be. Till the next reunion as SISTAR.
