Judging from Toby's and everyone else's expressions it seems like they too think it is kind of nice - as nice as can be expected from Michael. They know Michael genuinely hates Toby and is happy to see him go, but it's still a song Michael sings specifically for Toby, it doesn't have any overt malice in it, and Michael doesn't do anything cringeworthy to ruin the party like he usually does.

An underrated part of this scene is how the stage is set up so everyone in the audience is staring right into the blinding sun. They are all squinting or covering their eyes. Subtle joke but very funny addition to the scene.

@@AnthonyCardenasB Outdoor filming using natural light is very tricky. They probably spent about 3 hours setting up the shot and about 1 hour filming it. This scene looks like it was filmed around 6.30 in summer. The camera Guy and Director should have set up the scene with the setting sun behind them or filmed in the morning between 6am and 9am .
