My sister and her partner are away on vacation so we signed up to housesit AND puppy sit while they're gone! While there are many perks to house life there are many reasons we can't wait to get back to living in a van! Come along for a day with us as we commute to our small business headquarters, make a batch of Canada's only FRESH chai (Chaiwala Chai) and take our best buddy Bruce on a few walks!

We're Eamon and Bec, a Toronto-based couple who live full-time in our self converted Sprinter Van!! SUBSCRIBE for wanderlust travel, behind the scenes of what it's really like to live in a van, and videos all about the yummy vegan food we make + eat!

Your videos are so positive and inspiring. I love watching your adventures and even the non adventures, I always look forward to watching you two! And my fiancé and I really have been contemplating buying a van because this is my dream to travel just like the both of you. Now it’s a matter of when! You guys really are so raw and real and I love that about your videos. Completely different from any other Van Life RU-vid channel. It literally makes me so happy to watch you guys grow together as almost one unit! And really that’s my wish for my fiancé and I to be as positive and uplifting and have an open mind more about things. Shout out to Bec for always having that amazing energy and just always finding something to be grateful for it really helps me when I’m feeling down or stressed, even just throughout my day. best vids for newbies are, not in this order,1- the original interview video, 2- the remake van vid where you show the updates and why you did what you did to the van, 3- a what you eat in a day, 4- a van life meetup with MMs, 5- and maybe this is my fav from the last few weeks, BOB'S VAN TOUR!! :-) This was fun- it's cool to see you guys staying other places too, and I always enjoy the company vids. If you take him out and have to leave him in the van, just remember to put a pee pad down for the puppy.

Fun fact: more lanes on a freeway actually leads to more traffic. Sometimes there is a very temporary relief but very quickly more people start driving and fill in those extra lanes very quickly. Investing in better public transit infrastructure, building more affordable "downtown" housing is what eases traffic congestion. also it was fun seeing your chai production!

I feel the same way about my dog and my daughter. I had some half time parent tell me I was codependent. Nothing ill about loving your family. When they fill your life with so much love and cuteness all the time its hard being away...even for 4 hrs!

I was shocked that’s for sure of the title! I used to do Oakville to Etobicoke to work everyday. I hated the commute ! Bruce is adorable! My fav episode is from a year ago. Van life in the city. It’s what hooked me!

You had suggested to write to you and recommend a vid for the upcoming van gathering. My recommendation is the 3 or 4 vids when your engine was replaced in Mexico. I feel that the great parts of van life everyone dreams about and knows about however, it is when we are in the stressful times that we learn. With your vids of the engine replacement, it helps other van folks in figuring out what to do (ie: problem solve under stress). These vids, I feel, would help everyone. thanks for the invite to comment.

I am originally from Atlanta. Also has 16 lanes (if not more). Same thing with Atlanta traffic, hit the road super early morning or by 2:30 pm otherwise, traffic headache. (I haven’t lived there in 15 years but I’m sure their traffic is still problematic. I also worked with an LA transplant to Atlanta. She said ATL traffic was worse than LA.

Having spent all of last year living in a caravan with my husband and 2yo (now 3) travelling around Australia, I would definitely include a couple of your freestyle Friday vids, as I know it's always great to get some new recipe ideas that can be cooked in small spaces with minimal equipment. Yet the last scene shows a very clear, lovely decorative view of what I can only imagine is Bec's sister's address given in latitudinal/longitudinal coordinates. Fire the editor. I know that there has been a lot of feedback on how you and Eh relate. I say this speaking to Bec because I’m a female living in a camper with my partner, but I totally appreciate y’all’s relationship. My favorite videos: - Just about any of the ones in BC, but Van Life in Tofino was pretty awesome. Van life intruder was also HILARIOUS! - Freestyle Friday pick: Loved the one where Eamon dropped all of the ingredients on the floor. I couldn't stop laughing for a week anytime I thought about it! - What we ate in NYC was also really cool! Haha has you can tell, I'm just a huge fan. So hard to pick favorites! Oh and last minute favorite - the one where the van got stuck in Mexico (was that also the same one that you passed the camera around and said what the biggest pet peeve was about the other? If so, that one's def a winner!) Love you guys

If my mind isn’t occupied by work- at work I miss my dogs and just want to go home with them. Sometimes the feeling is there regardless of if I’m busy or not. I try to block it out because I’ve got to make money! But I speed home and smother them with love as fast as I can.
