Oh wow, never had such a big flow of your comments coming in at once. Thank you so much for your amazing support and for all your blessings. Reading and taking in every single one of it. More soon! Stay well & healthy!
very good decision, I am sure you will feel more happy there! Actually, I am moving too in Ivory Coast after the elections to start a free range farming, I can t wait, I am so excited.....
Congrats on the move Doctor . I had the same sentiments as you have shared in the video and in 2018, I decided to pack up my bags after living in the US for 20+ years and moved back to Uganda. The adjustments to the way of life hasn't been easy, but very rewarding for me and my family and we are slowly getting our business off the ground instead of sitting in fancy corporate office in the US waiting to collect a paycheck.
I just found your channel. I'm an Afro Cuban/ Puerto Rican from New York. I fled the racism in the US 12 years ago, going to university in Rome. I've been in Rome for those 12 years and I have to say I'm exhausted, the West makes me feel so empty. I'm tired of feeling like people are "tolerating" my brown presence. I went to Ghana and stayed for 4 months and for the first time in my life I felt like I was really home. My natural state of being is the norm and my laugh, my walk, my essence is in everything. I know exactly what you mean, my soul felt whole. I could literally feel my ancestors joy for me. So I'm leaving Europe too. I'm in the process of buying land in Ghana. Africa is our true home
I am glad that you found some peace in Ghana. You mention that you're Afro Cuban, Cuba is a very special place for me. I am originally from Nigeria, the Yoruba region to be precise and I was in Cuba 2 years ago. It was a transformative experience. I visited the Yoruba museum in Old Habana and visited a Maroon/Cimarron village in Mantanzas province and actually learned a lot of Yoruba history over there. I have since learned of famous Yoruba Cubans such as Carlota la Negra of the Triunvirato plantation slave rebellion and Prieto the slave turned soldier in the Lucumi war. I mention this because once settled in Africa you may be interested in looking into some of the common traditions between Cuba and Yoruba in West Africa (Nigeria and Benin republic) , particularly the orishas, lucumi and Santeria. A lot AfroCubans were Yoruba because of the collapse of the Oyo empire back in West Africa and many of them actually did manage to return to West Africa. African Diasporans are interested in finding their 'roots' and I am very much interested in finding out about my diasporic 'branches'. I strongly believe both of these are things that should be incorporated into history curricula across the black world to encourage unity.
@@michaelilori1776 Yes my brother, my whole family are santeros, santeras and babalawos. We are Lucumi orisaha priests. My 3rd great grandfather and 3 rd great grandmother both came from Oyo. That grandfather lived to be 103 yrs old. He passed the religion to his children and we have an unbroken line of priests in our family. I named my oldest daughter after my Yoruba ancestor, Faiola. I am a priestess of Yemaya, I believe you call her Yemoja. My father is a babalawo who has ties to Nigerian babalawos. My children have been raised in Italy Lucumi knowing the orishas since birth. We are a proud Yoruba descendant family. Alafia hermano 🇳🇬🇨🇺🇵🇷
I'm not from any of African country but I feel exactly the same about the life in the West. Moving back home to Ukraine soon. Best of luck to you people, hope you'll find peace and prosperity wherever you go!
After 40 years I took the leap last year. I have been in Nigeria for 12 months straight and I can't see myself living in the USA again. Good luck more wind in your sails
@@drsolar great, in Lagos as well. Sincerely, I have been making plans to leave the country but that is gradually changing. I see myself doing so well globally from Africa, working on my vision and my ideas and I feel so close to getting it right. Very strong feeling.
Welcome bk. Saw your channel yesterday, I cried when I saw what u faced in DR. I faced racisim in Canada but very covert. Was there 14yrs, one day as I was leaving work through a heavy snowstorm I fell and cried. Asked my self, why am I suffering yet I can go bk home to Africa and suffer there. Three days later I flew bk home with my suitcases, I left everything everything in Canada. People thought am crazy, 10yrs later my life is on another level, those I left behind they are still hustling. Africa the vibrations are on another level, its new its fresh its a place full of challenges which in turn gives us so many opportunities. So Karibu Nyumbani, its time to occupy your space.

I agree but Africa does not extend citizenship to AFRICAN Black Americans. We only have the right of abode in Ghana and that's not citizenship. It's a slap in our face.
Glad to be a witness to this new development. The chinese saw the opportunities way before. Come, breathe, get those knees off your neck and create options. Welcome home sister
@@mkvlogs2625 I'm so excited to know that our brothers and sisters will be present on this our beautiful continent. There are definitely great changes happening.
@Michelle Cuthbert brown just goes to show you know nothing about Africa. African people comes in all shades. You sound like a bitter person, we don't need people like here, please stay where you are.
@Michelle Cuthbert brown what do you mean she is not black? She is from Eritrea. The last time I checked Eritrea is in Africa and African/blacks comes in different shades. We have to stop with all this divisiveness.
Great move! I came to Ghana 🇬🇭 on a trip in December and just decided to stay when the virus spread and borders began to close. My gut feeling told me to stay and it ended up being the best decision I’ve made in my life so far. Ghana is home now 🤴🏾 I’m 23 and already decided I’m not spending my glorious youthful years slaving at some 9-5 job where I’m easily seen as replaceable. Especially being a young Black man!!!! Amerikkka is NO place to be raising a healthy and prosperous Black family 👊🏾❤️
Nice. I arrived in Accra, Ghana, for my second visit on January 10. I was scheduled to leave on April 15 but my flight was cancelled in late March and President Akufo-Addo imposed the lockdown. Closed the borders, which just reopened on September 1. I’m still here, though. Best wishes.
the US isnt bad, its still spacious, try the UK where we've got approx 90 million people now and cant build on green belt land, no new roads built, its one overpopulated, over congested hell hole.
I absolutely agree... I’m moving to Ghana 🇬🇭 soon! I want to help the villages with public bathrooms 🚽 and showers 🚿 along with Solar Power! Sustainable healthy living ✊🏽 Providing well paying jobs to the community and training opportunities. Africa is amazing and I can’t wait to have a New Experience and Adventure in my Life.
Bro that's thoughtful. Am also in Uganda and will move back home to Ghana and look at BioGas or natural gas investment means.... Got some marvelous location for this project
Africa is big don't generalize we have 53 countries all with different cultures and languages do your research first !!!!! I've never heard someone say am moving to Asia ,,,, where specifically India China or Vietnam every country is very very very different so let's stop this excitement about Africa being one
I am so happy that I found you on RU-vid. Originally from Eritrea 🇪🇷, currently resides in the US. I am very much interested to invest in east Africa and to move away from the west for sake of my kids (while they are still in elementary age).
D J BLACK actually historically and factually europe(west eurasia in reality)is actually very young in terms of civilization. We though they had more to offer. Afrika is the Elder. Time to put the child in their place 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
@100% Quality lol what!? Do u think all afro Americans who are AMERICANS by the way. Will ship over to Africa!? If you do u ll know truth soon! By the way... they shut down the whole globe ...to set up their Nwo n I ppl still let yourself be DIVIDED! She is a shill! But good luck in the Nwo. You all think yr so wise...but you are NOT!
Moving to Ghana last year was the best decision I made for my son & I. Here we are truly free.. My brothers & sisters, we need to come together & help those who are unable to answer mother Africa's call to return. A gofundme account or another charity based on sending our people home might be a great idea for someone with the means, know how & connections to make this possible. We can't allow our people to be trapped in a foreign land by the white man's system of poverty & racism. Let's break the chains of slavery & help return our people to the mother land
@Mike Frederick Just come home and be safe my brother. I’m sitting outside looking at the Indian ocean right now. The people are so kind and welcoming. Get settled and then accept the guidance of Dr. Harnet and create a stream of income if you haven’t done so already. One love
I am A South African I have been in the UK for more than twenty years now, but what you are saying is very true, the feeling that one feels the moment you arrive in Africa is totally different, the energy in your body, the people that you meet in the street will be having that smile and happiness on their faces, the greetings from people you do not know. It is amazing. As it is my heart is aching to go home I cannot wait. They can be negative about our continent at the end every black person will realise that Africa is the place to be.
I highly doubt she’ll move to Tanzania because there’s quite a lot of restrictions for foreigners in Tanzania in terms of ownership of land and dual citizenship, she’s a business lady she’ll probably go to countries that are open to business like Rwanda or Kenya
@@antony6799 don't you realize Tanzania has a lot of Asians from India, China doing business there and succeed. Yes Tanzania has restrictions just like many countries around the world. I read you can buy a house from Bakhresa housing's business in Zanzibar as a foreigner. So far things are changing.

FinessedAHooker13 Sijawai enda huko ila naskia ndio marekani palivio! Having lived in other continents, I agree. There's just some growing sense of discomfort, I can't explain, when living in any part of the world that isn't home.
KAIZO POLYMATH feminism bro. The socio-Political structure of Africa is still colonial. Of course some ideologies are gonna seep through. Luckily the collapse of the west that we are witnessing will help African women see the danger of adopting the ideologies of westerners. Nonetheless across precolonial Afrika women and men ran their political affairs separately...and convened before elders for issues that affected the community as whole. If we keep it that way we will thrive. But the nonsense of integrating and forcing one group under the other rather than beside...twajimaliza!
Amazing forum to be a part of, Kenyan living in Iceland, packed too moving in September 2020 after 24 yrs abroad relocating for the first time since i left, bringing my skills, knowledge and ready to give back to the society hope to be a member will be in Kisumu dala..
@JD Israel why cant The Most High be a female??? I mean if EL, Elohim, Yahweh/Yahawah/Yahuah/Yehovah/Jehovah (by whatever a person acknowledge), as well as other titles are neuter nouns, then that can apply to the title TMH (Elyown EL).
@JD Israel lol with due respect I get where youre coming from. Point being I get those Monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islaam) is based on the Male (Patriarch male chauvinism) but if theres a "FATHER" then theres a "MOTHER". If theres a Male Most High then theres a Female version, I dont see the issue lol....its very simple. Now you mentioned Genesis 1:26, yes Let "US" make man after our image & likeness....Right. Now the "US" can be male & female or both genders in one as (He-maphrodite & Her-maphrodite). Lets say a male God created Adam, what about Eve? Who gave Eve (Hawwah/Khawah or Nekaybaw) the mitochondrial Dna????? Only the Female (Mother) can pass it on. So again whats the issue? Lol
@JD Israel yes opinion based on common sense & how I see creation works within reality, not based on Bible magic. QUEEN OF HEAVEN: Jeremiah 7:18 King James Version (KJV) 18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the 👉🏿queen of heaven👈🏿, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. What are we still doing in the west? I'm still asking myself this. Dr Harnet you're brave and inspiring. If you are in Rwanda please check us out at Empathy Manor
Nnamdi, I will in December. I am from Rwanda but now in Toronto. After 12yrs in the West, I started asking myself the same question, then got an opportunity to come back home for international development work for 2 years...ended up staying 10 years working with small coffee farmers holders... I literally grew younger than ever...my life was so meaningful...my actions working with small coffee growers were significantly uplifting people's lives. I command you and Dr Harnet for your dedication to Africa...I'm working toward that myself...
I have worked on moving back for the last so many years and planted the roots so should be there in a few years. Came very young age so didn't have anything in Africa left had to start everything over.

I am a computer programmer with my own online business'. I would like to come to Africa for a few months once the Covid-19 restrictions ease up. I would love to meet with you and people like you while I am in Africa.
Hi, I hope you consider Ethiopia one day. You can meet so many educated people and just need someone to guide them. Let me know I can connect you to a group of young, educated and smart Ethiopians.
I knew how you felt before you even spoke, so many of us are there emotionally and spiritually, the idea you are replaceable in the West is an Awakening about the value of your humanity here.
When I visited Africa it was so liberating and freeing. With all the degrees and material things, the Sister was right, it doesn't equate to happiness. I miss the innovative and creative ways people were trying to make a living and how they radiated joy even in the face of adversity. The lies they tell about Africa. Addis in Ethiopia was popping, Tanzania was beautiful. South Africa was too westernized for me. I realize that I want to be in an emerging economy living a simple life. The West is not the best., too much racism and stress.
I'm a ugadan living in qatar,I have always loved my country and mother Africa ❤️. This video has touched my nerves. Thanks doctor for such a great love for Africa and that encouragement and motivation.God keep blessings you.

100% Don't get stranded out there. People need to make sure they do it properly and not head out there looking for a job. Passive income and a nice security fund should do.
@Isaiah Kyuga its all politics, dig deeper - there are those who have been using this strategy for years. Divide and conquer, africa need to get a grip of itself before we stop these infiltrations

Congratulations, when Ghana open it's borders, it will be like Moses and the Israelites crossing the red sea. People are very alert and we're very glad our families are finally coming home.
Dr. Harnet, congratulations on moving to Africa. There will be more than likely tens of thousands of Black Americans moving to Africa also to help build Africa's economy through S.M.A.R.T Development that is inclusive of health and spiritual living. Most of all, relocating to Africa to enjoy and experience the full embracing of being a human being and not treated unjust because of skin color. Bless you and congratulations. One day, all 54 African countries representatives do need to meet and draft a 20 year plan for Africa to establish a competitive economics vision and take control of Africa's resources to significantly reduce the Doctrine of Unequal Exchange that has hurt Africa's infrastructure. Thank you for sharing and Bless you.
Sure wish I could take the trip with you but I have to save quite a bit more before I can afford to make the move out of the US. But I am keeping hope alive as I know one day I will set foot in Africa and be able to then truly make a difference in our world for the better, YAH be willing.

As a South African, I am impressed by your vision and courage.. There's a lot of opportunities in Africa and we need all mentors and partners we can get.
As a Kenyan in the US for two years now I can truly relate. I have seen both sides and The States is fast paced, there is money and opportunities. In Africa the opportunities are to be created there is full of love, kindness and comfort. A little kindness goes a long way. In the States life is expensive causing people to have to think about themselves. Not withstanding the social issues like racism which make one always nervous, you can never just relax. I only knew that I am black when I landed in the US. In Africa we are all black, all human, all equal and human dignity is upheld.
Omg so many people are moving to Africa. Being from the Caribbean, when I moved to the US I couldn’t believe the clear disparity between Blacks and Whites here. It’s like 2 different countries, cultures, music, food even Christian music here are separated by race. At least I have another country that I call home
What I love mostly about this smily innocent beautiful woman She smiles with a strong focus for the future Well Godbless you and your family You have made the right choice
