My Husband was such a fan of yours. He passed on the first of June, the first of Pride month. We just had his Wake on the 20th, his Birthday, This song was on the playlist, thank you for being a part of my Husband's Wake.
This rendition made me far more happy than I expected it to. How do you manage to bring so much joy to my heart with your music? You know what, I don't need to know how you do it so long as you continue to do it. Thank you.
OMG! I can finally understand all the words, instead of just a few. And I am a native English speaker (well, American anyway). Thanks for this! :) Makes me want to watch 'Rocket Man' all over again.
I've probably watched this video 50 times in the last week and just now noticed that somewhere in that time, I apparently had mistakenly disliked it. So I can only assume the other five people have misclicked as well!
I think I like this version better than the original! Maybe follow it up with one from his American counterpart, Billy Joel? Thanks for the wonderful cover, Thomas!
I like this better than the original. Love your voice. I can understand everything you sing and you do it so well. I could listen to you sing just about anything. All your videos get a like from me, but this one got me to subscribe. Though I don't know why I wanted until now.
I love your spirit so much! Your voice would catch the biter irony of the older songs like Preacher and the Slave or Big Rock Candy Mountain so well, it’s hilarious to imagine!
I've been enjoying your videos for some time now, but apparently it's been because of RU-vid's algorithm noticing that I'm into ukulele, _not_ because I've subscribed. sorry about that. I've corrected the situation now and set notifications to All. also, splendid job on this cover.
Just thought you'd like to know that tomorrow in the U.S. it's National Play Your Ukulele Day. Check out National Play Your Ukulele Day! www.checkiday.com/5ac67b973f0bd19b5ae3d03c146eb503/national-play-your-ukulele-day
That song reminds me of Phil Roberstson quite a bit. First, he walked away from a Pro Football career. Then, he walked away from Duck Dynasty. You know what? I think he made the right decision in both cases. I'll call it "Phil's Song"
