Thank you very much! I really want to learn how to sing this song with a guitar and I found this tutorial. My new favorite Christian song since the worship team played this on our sunday service. The simplest explanation is what Brian is talking about at the beginning of the video. Different people have different vocal ranges. For most men, songs in Bb tend to run too high in pitch, the same with the key of A. I hope this helps!

The cord at 1:05 you noted as Bm is really a Bm11 but I believe Bethel just plays a Bm cord. A Bm7 or Bm11 could work if everyone is on the same page. By playing the open E on the first string makes the cord a Bm11.

You're trying but making it difficult for people to comprehend quickly with this method of D to G back to D thing.I think it will be easier and quicker for people to comprehend when you say, doh to soh back to doh, mi, re and so on.

why would you call this a tutorial of a song and not play it in the same key as the track? Doesn't really serve those who want to play the original. at least you could call it a tutorial for a male lead.

One humble suggestion.. . Start the video off playing the song all the way through for those that are intermediate and don’t necessarily need everything broken down. Thanks

Thanks Shane! We have full play through videos of all these songs as well. The play through a show the chords as we play them. They’re great for someone who just wants to see the chords without the full explanations.
