The wood bowl is made from a wood burl. It is a growth off of a tree.

Burlwood is hard to come by and very expensive

that's correct, our gumtrees here in Australia have them. People can only get them from a fallen tree, not living. When a tree is burnt, new growth will spurt from these.

I love the spoons pot. ❤ As a Spoonie myself, the idea of spoons and the concept that when you are out of ‘spoons’ means that’s it for today. People with chronic illnesses/fatigue use that terminology to help others understand how you may be feeling. 😊.

FYI: I could hear you perfectly, and background noise was softened. I think the other commentor needs to adjust their system settings; I've had my volume at max, only to realize that my master setting for media volume in my phone settings was set to half.

I have to tell you that I had a Jocelyn moment at the Am Vet store. I came in and found small baggies of Wheaton bottles that were 2 or three per bag for .99. And one of them had a small bluebird of happiness in it as well! I RAN with my arms loaded to get a cart. I remembered your video with your load of Wheaton baggies and I was so excited! You inspire me!

The Goodwills featured in your videos are amazing. The shelves are neat, organized & actually stocked. I live in an affluent community, but the local Goodwill is frightening. Everything is either damaged or dirty or both. Your videos give me hope that I will one day walk into our local Goodwill & leave with an item clean & Intact. A girl can dream. Your videos are a lot of fun! Thanks for the great content!

I think that sometimes some of the items may get broken by the workers who stock the shelves. I like the noise cancelling mic because then you don't have to worry about copyright strikes.

People that say you stage these good days, don’t thrift as a business. I’ve had days at a GW that were mind blowing!🤯 And I’m like “OMG! The thrifting gods are with me today!” Then days where there is nothing..🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes! Same here! Anyone who thinks she "stages" her finds at GW are not living in reality. She has a reputation as someone who buys quality items, not damaged and knows her stuff. It is really sad some people are so jealous that they would think she'd risk her reputation and livelihood for a rigged treasure hunt.😂 It always is a hit or miss when we go thrifting and if the naysayers would actually try it, they'd understand!

OMG…. I picked up the EXACT same pottery piece that you picked up and it’s supposed to be a wall pocket vase, but my husband looked at it and NO LIE said “What is this?! A goblet you can’t put down? Until you finish the contents of it?” So the fact that you found another … and said THE EXACT SAME THING HE Did ?! My mind is freaking blown 🤯😮😂😂

Love those fridge dishes. Always on the lookout for them. I use as little plastic as possible. That is a VERY cool wooden bowl. Is it walnut? Don't know, but it's gorgeous. Love that you rescue some great studio pottery! 🥣 Happy shopping :)

Not sure what kind of wood it is, but I’m pretty sure it’s a burlwood bowl-made from those big knots, or burls, that grow on the trunks of some trees. They’re not good for the trees, but people make beautiful, unique furniture and utensils, etc., out of them.

I was hoping you were going to get the horse head bookends by the Jim shore figures. I had a set and they aren't cheap but I broke one of mine and haven't found anymore. I broke my very tall swag vase too and when I see you looking at them and seeing the prices, I could die. I had that vase for 20 years and broke it. I love your videos. So many of us do. Don't let the haters bother you one bit. They have nothing better to do than find happy people on here and they leave hate messages. They don't have a life so they like to criticize others. The quality of sound from the new microphone varies between devices. I'm sure that's out of your control but may clear up why some folks hear your voice low and muffled and others hear you fine. I can't understand you on my Roku tv, but hear you great on the tablet.✌

I am wondering if the position of the microphone in relation to J’s mouth is relevant. There were times that her voice was muffled in my opinion, but the absence of music was great. Found it odd that the loud ladies in the first goodwill were really loud! 😊
