Speaking of ameba, that happened to my brother. He was so sick and the doctors couldn't diagnose him. He suffered a lot before they finally did. Be careful. They tell ya never to let your dog swim in a pond where the water doesn't move. The same should go for humans.

it just blows my mind that yall got so into disc golf. I grew up in front of a lake with a built in disc golf course but had not heard people talk about it in years since moving. then along comes a guy I subbed to two years ago for thrifting content throwing my childhood at me 🤣 makes me wanna go throw some discs so so bad.

I know, we did disc golf in the late 80s/early 90s when we were kids, I had no idea it was back like this! The past few years for sure. My dad even pulled some of his old discs out of storage for me :D

Way back in '69 or '70 we went to Florida for spring break golf. The first day, since the course in St. Pete had numerous water hazards, we lost virtually every ball we had. We were going to come back at night and dive one of the ponds like we used to do in Ohio.........until we saw the alligator!!! We then drove to K-mart and bought balls for the rest of the trip. Glad you found all those discs without obtaining any toothmarks.

Yes, prices are higher in Florida than they are in SC for sure! The smaller the town is, the higher the prices are at Goodwill. Since you took Jacksonville route you received better prices. Yes, water moccasins and gators are here and real ! Sounds like y'all really enjoyed your trip.

There is a Thrift Store here in Tampa, FL on Waters Ave.. Called RED,WHITE AND BLUE... and daily they have screens inside with 2- 3 Color Tags Daily..USUALLY 2 @ 50% and one @ 25%...And boy OH BOY, Do they have nice Stuff CHEAP!!!

Some guy was eaten by an alligator in Lakeland FL about a month ago. He was also swimming in a pond searching for frisbees. Glad you guys weren’t eaten!!!

The Goodwills in my area are junk. You are so blessed to have good thrifting opportunity! Where I live there is one thrift store and the nearest Goodwill is 40 minutes away. This is one of the reasons I am not a reseller. I would like to sell some things, mostly vintage, that I already have (not thrifted), but Ebay intimidates me.

Goodwill prices are insane here in Florida. I get most of my inventory at Sunshine Thrift in Bradenton and Tampa. Great prices! Found a bunch of College polos for less than $4 each last week.

Gator killed a guy on the local course here (largo Fl) this week. He was also in the water looking for discs. I’ve done it in the same spot he was killed in. You definitely take a risk when you get in the water in Florida.

I had a honor of finding a nice cobra iron set in knoxville while on vacation. Seems like TN thrift store prices are all over the place but lots of stores in that area. Also just found a similar polo shirt yesterday with the 1967 patch logo. Not sure if that pillow is vintage. I sold a Pac man plush that has the same tag couldn't tell for sure. Harry potter book sets have really went down. I'm trying to get 65 for my set
