I love shabby chic; chippy paint, textiles and material with soft, faded cabbage rose prints, pitchers and bowls with a crackled, distressed finish, and of coarse white or pastel wicker with a well worn finish. It's all about that soft faded romance of a Paris apartment. You do have a great eye for it. A lovely video. I truly enjoyed it. 🌹

Shop at the Salvation Army instead of Goodwill. All the donation money at Salvation Army goes to a good cause and to charity's as to where almost none of the money made at Goodwill goes to a charity!

Hello, The little plastic "cups" are for making a custom cake top for a wedding cake. There should be flat tops too. I've used them many times over the years. Never thought of using them for decorating my home. Gives me an idea for decorating a candle stand.

I love the stuff you found! I thought the idea of your videos was to look at your hauls and get an idea of what is out there, not that we have to go out and buy everything you buy. You are correct, everyone is responsible for their own purchases and their own finances!

+LPSLover I totally agree! it also hocks me off how much they charge for certain items, its totally ridiculous!! They get everything for FREE! The money they get is all profit! These places are supposed to be for ppl on a tight budget, but you wouldn't know that when you look at their price tags! They get all their stuff from donations and the price tags should reflect that. Getting a little too uppity and arrogant for a supposed "thrift" store.

Love the pillows! If I had a big house I would totally collect them or something... but I live with my mom and grandmother in a city apartment, so I really can't collect them bc we do need space for living. lol :)

I agree with LPLover Goodwill does not benefit anybody except the CEO/owner oc the company making money for himself off of donations given thinking they ard helping the people NOT. Donate to places that REALLY help not pretend to help.

Those does plastic things that look like crowns are for cake centerpieces you would put that in between the item that you decorating it will go on the cake that's why has the perforations so it be easier to slide in to put onto the cake it's a stand for cake decorations

That horse box is so cute But I wanted to point out that yu said you feel good when shopping at goodwill be I don't think goodwill is a charitable organization the head ceo of the company unfairly pays his disabled workers and he sells the items in stores for profit with no money going back into the community I didn't want to just talk bad about it with out knowing my facts so I looked it up so maybe you should do the same

Yeah, it's pretty awful when you look up what they're actually up to, and there's a lot of problems with the Salvation Army too (trying not to get political here, though). If at all possible, I try and recommend true local thrift stores. They tend to be more honest about where the funds go, and many of them hire disabled workers a fair wage. They also are much cheaper I've found!

The white little crown is for cake topper it should have a little flat little Circle that goes on top of it and they were used to make decorations for cakes as a cake topper I was trying to insert a picture but I'm not able to

Goodwill and other thrift stores are deffo the place to pick up bargains! However, your style is much more feminine/romantic than shabby chic, for sure! :)

here is my problem. I see something I want. I stand there thinking I don;t need this I will just leave it. While I can afford this. I decided to go back a couple days later to get it and it sold out. So similar habbit. I buy books at value village or the library mini bookshop. I find books at a decent price and I read a lot .
