Come thrift #shopping with me, Ph.D. Antiques Appraiser Dr. Lori, as I go treasure hunting at the Goodwill thrift store in Avon, Connecticut. #Watch me find depression #glass, Anchor Hocking bakeware and a piece of crystal from the 1970s worth fifty-five times it's sticker price! Shoppers before me had no clue of its value because it was still on the shelf! Bargains are still out there if you follow me and know your stuff.
I found a copy of Bruno Munari's Zoo book and frosted crackle glasses too. Plus, beware of the glass tumbler knock-offs I spotted trying to look like a famous designer. Also, see a cracked glass piece that you need to leave behind.

I have a whole bar set (including ice bucket & shot glasses) trimmed in gold. I believe my grandparents received them as a 50th wedding anniversary gift in March of 1975.

Thanks for all the info. I'm on the west coast, so I can't go to the places you shop and grab those treasures. I write in cursive exclusively. It's a shame they stopped teaching it to kids in school, but I believe they are bringing it back.
