I put mouthwash and bubble bath, things like that in those decanter

"vintage.. From the 90's"!! That makes me feel soo old! I'm in my 40s but haven't heard anyone class things from the 90s as vintage 😮😢😊

I use decanters for mouth wash, laundry detergent, one as a vase and used the top for a rooting vase. I just popped the plastic piece off the stopper. There are lots of ideas for them. Great haul!

My great-grandmother and other ladies in that generation would put coloured water in the decanters. My grandmother had a red and green ones, which she would place on a table in front of her living room window. The sun would shine through them, so beautiful!

I use my canteen for mouth wash by my bathroom sink and added a beautiful bow and I also have one in my kitchen with olive oil. 😉

The little Christmas platter is Fitz and Floyd ..for 1.99 not bad..I loved the cherub ribbon. My husband said we need to get rid of half our Christmas stuff. I have over twenty bins..but love it too.

I am so happy to find someone,who shops for herself and not to resell. Very nice items in this store love the vintage hats. I would clean them and wear them. Love the yellow apple paperweight,tea bag holders, and so many items ,just to have? Love your introduction,with the fawn. Reasonable prices. I wish,I could have asked you to get a few items and I would have bought from you. The black velvet hat be'ret you bought looks like it was in a movie. This store has great vintage. So many items,I would have bought for a decore setting. I would have bought the red and white ginger jar and little dish that matched that was on another shelf. Love your vintage hat boxes. I was surprised you didn't buy the cake-cutter knife and server set. Just so many nice items. Did you buy the straw hat,with the blue ribbon and change the ribbon to black, that straw hat,would have been in my cart. Where are you? Oh my gosh,that cake plate would have been mine. The glass ware in this store is amazing. I am so addicted to the thrifters videos. I would be so poor,if I could shop in every antique/ vintage mall. So many beautiful items!!! I like to think of the original owner. I am a odd dish,glassware, lover. I like to use odd pieces for just the fun,but like my formal table setting. The unusual plates make nice chargers for sandwich plates and soup bowls,if you don't have matching sets It is also nice,when my great granddaughters visit. I match the dishes with their pesonalities,yet teach them the proper etiquette for FORMAL DINNING. THEY LOVE TO SET THE TABLE FOR FORMAL,INFORMAL and Casual and love how.I individualize for them according to their age and likes. Yes,I am thinking about Autumn and The Holiday Season. Eventhough it has been extremely hot and drought,I am actually enjoying this Summer,because,I don't have to go outside. Where do you store all of your items? I have really enjoyed this time watching your video. Thank you for not rushing and showing us many items and not just what you bought. So many thrifters rush and only show what they are interested in. Sorry for so many comments, but I just see so many great items and creative ideas. For the holidays,I would have bought the single candle holder with the thumb handle. Each time,I watch thrifters,I want to go thrifting, but since,I am still downsizing,I am enjoying the videos. I wish,I could visit every mall in every store and city. Sometimes the cities and towns are interesting. So much history in the videos. Thank you for a pleasant visit 7-16-2022 .

I so agree with you about summer. I hate everything about it, hot weather, high humidity. The only good thing about it is the wonderful fresh vegetables and fruit that we get here in Michigan. Excellent shopping trip.

I just scored 3 solid brass stiffel lamps with gorgeous shades in perfect condition minus the finials. 8.99,10.99,and 11.99. Could not believe it! Gently washed the shades,polished the brass,just beautiful. Stiffel will match the appropriate finial to your lamp. They need an email and picture. Still need to do that. Finials are about 10 dollars a piece.

Loved that you didn't want to disturb the cat - I have cats and would have done the same thing. My doily collection began over 40 years ago with some made and given to me by my grandmother. Since then I have limited bringing home those that are unique and unlike any I already have - the one you chose would have come home with me for the same reasons - so pretty! It was really nice of you to give a shoutout in appreciation to whomever stitched the needlepoint cottage picture. I also enjoyed seeing the expression on your cute little dog's face as he looked up at you while watching the fawn outside the window - so cute! The antique furniture was wonderful too. I put a decanter and small etched pedestal cordial glasses on a small silver plated tray (all thrifted) in my bathroom for mouthwash. It looks beautiful and we always use it!

I love the feather quill pen. And hope you can find an antique ink pot that you love. I forgot to mention in last video that I love how you styled the secretariat when it was open. It would be awesome if it could be open all the time but I understand if your husband bumps into it, you can’t leave it open. 😊

They glass scotch decanter could be used in your bathroom to hold bubble bath , bath salts or even listerine.(of course after cleaning well)

If you have room for it, a glass or crystal decanter looks lovely in the bathroom as a mouthwash vessel. It’s a lot classier than the plastic container the mouthwash comes in. Love this haul! Thank you for sharing.

Great walk through. I hate this really hotter than normal summer, but I really don't like the winter weather. My dtr lives in San Marco's & they're thinking of moving to Colorado. I used to have a set of those decanters that said Scotch, Bourbon, & Gin on them.

I often use big blanket scarfs that are fall/winter color because I’m not really “using” them but decorating with them. That might be an option for you also

The feather pen is from the early to mid 90's. I bought one for my parents 25th wedding anniversary that was in that time frame. It's pretty displayed.
