Lovely video Jan. I have to get there somehow. I nearly lost it when I heard the band playing the theme from "Where Eagles Dare." Broadsword is definitely calling Danny-Boy.
Amazing how wonderfully classy the ladies and some of the gents looked in "period" clothes and how skinny jeans and other new age affectations make people look like fools.
It really is just like the 1940's and 1950's not an Indian face in sight only White British People as it was in the UK those days before the country went pear shaped.
I go to watch motor racing. If grown people want to play dress ups they can, of course. Your white supremicist comments are rather repulsive. The world has changed. If you can't accept it you're in trouble.
Your comment: "EVERYONE LOOKS SO ELEGANT" appeared just as I was thinking the exact opposite. Several people made a big effort to embrace the much advertised 40's & 50's fashion style. This is how the event is portrayed in the media and so they must have really felt out of place, vulnerable and perhaps a bit 'silly' when most of those around them that I saw in your video just looked like tramps whose style was - 'NO style whatsoever'. Your video is a low quality, amateur snapshot of a glimpse into the event and poorly edited - if at all. You spent 2 minutes of a 5 minute recording showing a military band. You have put me off thinking of going to Goodwood - embracing the lovely 50's fashion and a chance to wear my fully fashioned stockings. I also don't feel tempted to subscribe to your videos if this one represents the standard I will find. Regards, Catherine.
