What a legendary climb back up the field by Grant Williams in that big Jag. My little book of wisdom tells me they weighed 25 hundredweight whatever that is in real money, but by comparison the little A30 which pipped it at the post weighed 13 hundredweight. Amazing to chuck it around as if it were an Escort Mk I.

Was that a Simca Aronde/Etoile going agricultural about6:00 just before you over took at 6:20 ? Dad had one when I was about 16.

Is this Jaguar Mk1 a 2.4 or 3.4 litre? Is it Tiff Needell or Grant Williams driving? It seems a bit ragged for Tiff.....
