Went out for a scenic ridge run near Sonora, but several days of rain turned an easy trail into a bad idea. Unfortunately the downhill was super slick mud and getting back out was difficult. Fortunately we were traveling together and were well prepared because no else appeared dumb enough to go out. Hilariously we ran into a sign in a side trail that said “Use Only When Dry” after we managed to extract ourselves from the mess. It’s supposedly a very scenic ridge ride, but visit it when it’s drier out.
