You missed 2 goofs you showed, when the twins are traveling to the clay pits the back one is moving faster than the front one and hits it, and the running board of Edwards first coach in the storm is broken and hanging off

1) the first coach foot rod is bend down at the back 2) the break coach's square light thing is backwards 3) there's hardly any light at Gordon's shed 4) the lights at both James and Duck's shed is too low 5) the light at Edward's shed is a bit too high

Because of stock footage being used, studio equipment is seen at the top right of the screen. Due to portions of the script being taken word for word from the original story, the narrator as Henry says "Did you see him (Edward) straining?" even though Edward was still at Knapford and the "heavy" train contained of only 3 coaches. Edward's train has no brake coach. When the engines watch Edward struggle, Edward, Gordon, and BoCo's eyebrows are missing. Also, the back roof of Knapford is missing. In the close-up of Gordon, the man next to him has Blu-tack under his feet. When BoCo says "You're right, Duck!" his face mask moves a little. In a close-up of Edward struggling to pull his train, his second front wheel is derailed. When Edward leaves Knapford, the last coach's paint is peeling up. When Duck says, "Edward's better than any of you," a steam platform is visible underneath Edward. The first coach of Edward's train has a loose running board. In one shot, BoCo's angry face is missing the eyebrows. Fingerprints are visible in the dust on top of Bill and Ben's brake vans. When Bill and Ben arrive at the quarry, someone on the back of Bill's brake van wobbles. In the close-up of Edward's driving wheels without the side rods, some of the stickers used for Edward's lining are badly torn up. In the shot of inside Edward's cab when his driver says "Well done, boy. You've got them! You've got them!" The reflection of a crew member's face and beard can be seen in the window. BoCo's shed doors on his berth at Tidmouth are hanging off and Gordon's eyes are wonky. When Edward pulls into Knapford alongside Henry, blue wires are visible on his and Henry's running board, near their headlamps. Also, blu-tack is visible under the Fat Controller. Edward mysteriously gains headlamps when he passes through Crosby. In the close-up of Edward's fireman sanding the track, Edward is not moving. When Edward says "I'll try, sir," the end of the set can be seen behind him. As Edward begins to the visitors back home and the weather changes, it is still sunny while thunder sound effects are heard. Edward's driver says that both of his side rods were taken off, but only his left one was removed while his right one is still on his wheels as he passes the trees before he passes through Crosby. When Edward enters his berth at Tidmouth Sheds, his left side rod is back on. In the shot of Edward puffing through the signal box during the night, the roof of the last coach is loose.

It might not be canon, but Unlucky Tug's Saga about Edward explains that Edward's returning to the sheds takes place weeks after the station scene and he was repaired over those weeks. It would have been nice if the narrator said that in the actual episode.

Throughout this episode, Edward's train doesn't have a brake coach. 2. 1:05 When Duck says "Edward's better than any of you" a steam platform is visible underneath Edward. 3. Edward's driver say that he'll take both of his side rods. But this isn't true because Edward's left side rod is the one is only removed because when Edward passes through the trees before Crosby he has his right side rod. 4. 3:55 When Edward passes at the signal box during night, the roof of the last coach is on loose. 5. 2:42 The first coach of Edward has a crooked running board.

4:38: Gordon's eyes are wonky, and David Mitton fiddled around with the train model remote, with the switch spinning it around

1:55 As the brakevan (not the caboose) stops, the toy man model inside wobbles, and the art director did the right thing. He added the toy man model inside the toy model brakevan, and didn't put some extra glue to make him stand up to ride in it.

I understand that they couldn’t exactly replicate that since all four of Edwards drive wheels were powered.

Good effort, but you missed 2 goofs nonetheless: 1. Duck is a prat. He told James, Gordon and Henry to shut up just because they had a point about Edward struggling. Instead he could've said; 'Settle down!' Or he might've said: 'Keep quiet!' OWTTE 2. Why do James and Henry smile after Duck scolded them? Shouldn't they look either shocked or angry?
