*Altogether a well made lure **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s the skirt seems to stay on well and the whole thing is bigger than I thought it would be. The 2 metal have a nice plating on them as well.*

Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ru-vid.comUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

@@kboutdoorspnw3147 it isn't just anise oil. My grandmother makes spiced cider every christmas and anise is one of the spices, this does not smell like that spice. It has a more sweet smell, with something else mixed in there.

Seems like a waste of a bunch of cash lol those baits are overpriced to begin with lol people get too caught up in labels still cool though awesome video love these hand made bait videos honestly yours look better than the big name stuff most of the time I gotta say I’m a fan of yum soft plastics and some others but to be perfectly honest I’ve caught more bass on the cheap 1.25 creme stick baits and jerk baits those creme brand worms and stuff kill bass and they are the cheapest and they seem to last way longer

You just outraged thousands of 12-55 year old cult followers, errrr googan squad followers. Most of the more productive googan lures have the Strike King flange on them. I just buy the Strike King lures if I want a ton of action and want to save money and want to look like an actual adult at the cash register. No one over 25 years old should be fishing googan cult lures.

How do you manage to put a full cup in the vac chamber without spill over? I can usually only get half a cup/container of remelted plastic to work out without spilling.

I wonder why GOOGAN baits look like crap.... They all look dark to me it is strange... I was at cabelas looking around and all the aisles were colorful, but when I got to the Googan baits aisle it looked all dark and dingy. Like everything was black or poop green and I was like "WTF? Why does everything look so dark?" So when I got home I look them up and on their website they had plenty of colorful stuff but I don't understand why they don't put that in stores or maybe it is the packaging that makes everything look the same... DARK AND GROSS! I just skipped passed em and grabbed a pack of Bobby Garland Baby Shads lol I never seen them before and they were really pretty 🤓

next time you pour try adding some fine grain salt and a little powdered garlic and fish it you might be surprised at the end result

it works my first Huge snook was on a fresh water Fluke worm that had Garlic powder, and southern bass around here seem to like it the color was translucent mocha color with a beaver tail kinda like the Ole Creme worms

The "slaunch sauce" makes for a decent air freshener in the car when I leave my rods in the car lol. Seriously though Googan baits catch fish, but rip insanely easy.

Where did you get the 9" ribbon tail worm mold. Is that one an injector too. Or hand pour? I'm looking to just do the worm, 1 creature style and a smaller swimbait. What molds do you use?

I dont know much about their crankbaits and other products..but these soft plastics were quite nice for production baits. Still priced too high imo but nice.

But I still can't understand why you wanna remelt new lures !!? Keeping used lures in a box to remelt them all in winter sounds a good idea but remelt new good lures ??? I don't understand !
