For some reason, my GA4 audience lists are not populating in Google Ads and I'm a bit stumped, I watched this video hoping to help troubleshoot the issue but I'm not finding any mention of this. My GA4 account is linked to my Google Ads account and data is populating back and forth. I set these up a few months ago and have tried disconnecting and reconnecting GA4 and Google Ads with no change. Can you help me?
Bloody good video! As someone battling thr after effects of PTSD, memory, processing, and attention is tough. The way you structure your videos is incredibly helpful. Your tone of voice, non-sporadic editing style, and guided tours are a God send. Thankyou and God bless.
Thanks Ben, love your videos. But how about "dynamic" remarketing? This video explains standard remarketing only. GA4 does not carry over the ecomm_ variables (e.g. ecomm_prodid) required that was integral for Dynamic Ads targeting. I can't find anywhere that explains how dynamic remarketing now works without these variables in GA4. In GA4 because there is no "Hits" Scope which was in UA Custom variables. Our dynamic remarketing ads no longer works since UA stopped generating data. In out Google Ads Tags Source, these UA ecomm parameters now have zero data. Does a new event with specific parameters need to be set up in GTM Now? Thanks
Hi Benjamin, what remarketing audience(s) would you recommend for non-ecommerce websites? Also, what would you recommend for remarketing in the cases where audiences are small?
Hello Benjamin, another super awesome video. I also have a question. Do I add both remarketing tag and conversion Tag in my google tag manager? Conversion Id in both the case looks the same. Or should I add only one tag ? Also why all pages initialisation and not all page as trigger? Waiting to get an answer for this.
Much like this video, I must admit that the movie was simply ok. Got the information that I required, but the video didn’t do much apart from passively presenting the information. I wasn’t excited completely and certainly it didn’t interest me.
I still have the old version in most of my client's accounts. I'm not too fussed with which one I use... after 16 years running Google Ads campaigns you just get used to Google periodically changing things. No point complaining about it!
Hey! Can you please give me advice. I was running ads and everything was good but after I did the steps on the video my ads stopped working and I checked it's active but there's no new data. What could be the issue? Please help.
Hello Benjamin, followed all the steps you mentioned, but I have noticed the audience I have created in Google ADS is populating very slow where as the same audience in Google Analytics has way more users. Is this something that I should worry about or is it normal for Google Ads to track users much slower than Google Analytics? Thank you in advance!
Thanks for your teachings, they are clear and to the point. Very useful. To answer you question, I prefer the old version because I have been using Google Ads for about 5 months and I just got used to the complex interface, and I still have a way to go to learn about all the campaigns. I don't have time to start anew.
On this one I have a combo of feelings. The actions and video editting were seen well but it became boring after a while. Could sound more eye or ear-catching to newcomers.
To your question in which method to create audinces I will use: which remarketing method helps me share the coockies of the products that i want to do remakreting in social media also?
Thanks for this. I saw an unexpected hike in our Google costs and only today realised why. it seems that when Google helped set up our GA4 integration they created audiences that have cost us a fortune. Do you think it is worth trying ti reclaim back some of these costs?
The artist did a good job with this, but at times I became bored and went into another place in my mind. I am not sure creator’s fault but videos that I watch often hold my attention.
I have an issue that my audience build in GA4 link with Google ads showing that "Not eligible due to a sharing, privacy, or other policy issue", aim I able to collect the audience via GTM?
I enjoyed some of the ideas presented in the video. As for the audio part, I think it could be somewhat better, but still the content was okay. Nowadays, I might see more videos from this artist.
Hi Benjamin. Thank you for your video. According to you, why I see a certain dimension for a public in GA4 and a quite different size for the same public while imported in Google Ads?
Hi There! Great Video. I was hoping you could answer a question that I have :) I want to start a Re-Marketing Campaign in Google Ads. I have created an audience in GA. However, in GoogleAds I have about half the users than it says in GA4. For example, if in a particular audience it says in GA4 that I have 200 users, whoever in GoogleAds it says I have only 100 (in the same audience). Do you have any idea why this is the case? greetings & thanks in advance!
If i'm running a campaign XYZ on say home appliances that target all in Australia? How will running a parallel remarketing campaign work or be effective? If someone googles, won't Google ad still publish both ads and the user could be clicking the original campaign XYZ instead of the the remarketing campaign Also on the Google Ads > Linked account Google Optimize sharing was not on, should i on it?
Great video! If you had a client that wanted a retargeting campaign estimate of impressions AND a budget estimate how would you come up with those two data points?
This video can considered as quite interesting, he was right in many points. I find however that the voice was dull, but it had some great bits. Do subscribe their channel for their next releases.
Hey, Benjamin What about the "Membership Duration" option which was there while creating Remaketing list in the previous version of Google Ads and not in the new one.
