The compute engine VM is using the internal network to connect to Cloud SQL but you are connecting to the compute engine VM through the internet. You need SSL because you don't want to send data (your password but also the rows the database) through an un-encrypted connection.
Hi i am halfway through this tutorial and i am stuck at the website thing. i did exactly everything you did but when i search my website name it says there's an error and it cannot open but when i search the ip address on the google search, the page conratulations! appears. do i proceed?
